Now, I haven't been on-line in a while so I don't know what was going on in the immediate situations of late. As I've been re-reading threads and attempting to catch up on how everyone has been and what's going on, I've noticed a trend that confuses me and troubles me.

Now, this may just be me but it looks like there's been an increased tendancy to be short tempered and quick to judge of late. What is going on, folks? Normally, all y'all are really relaxed and pretty easy going. Has this down turn in the worlds economies bitten hard into your savings or something else proven to be a *huge* source of fustration for y'all?

I know that all of us go through hard times and all, but this just kinda makes me wonder.

Now, I'm not saying that people should start pointing fingers at each other and say that "soandso said such and such, which pissed me off." I'm saying, there has to be a deeper motivation behind this recent behavior and just possibly, we could (as a community) find ways to resolve what ever problems are at the basis of this. I mean, we're supposed to help each other out when things get rough, right? That's part of being a community, last I checked.

So, if there's somethign bothering all y'all, lets talk about it. Maeby we can fix a few communication issues, clarify some points of contention, and get back to being our plesant selves.

Again, however, that's just me.

Everything is pretty scary right now, but thats why we are here. To band together and help each other get through things.

But, just like all families we are prone to fight and point fingers at each other from time to time. Thats just the way it is. The important part is to remember, at the end of the day, that the people we are pointing at are also the people we can turn to when we need something.

Not to mention it'd be boring if we all agreed all the time...You'd have a community of people sitting there nodding at each other and absolutely nothing to talk about or learn.

It's all pretty unimportant anyway.. *shrugs* I find myself going into the cynical thing again so I'll stop where I am :)

You could say that I was checking to see if everybody is ok because times are harsh and such.

Looks like we're all good, just a bit stressed. Yes?

**Nods** I'm doing pretty well. **Smiles** I'm putting my financial ducks into a row; and by next month, I should be paying $120 less per month in bills than I am now. Cha-ching!! :bigredgri

If there's one stressor in my life, it's being separated from my fiancée by about 1400 miles. :wah: But such are the hazards of (A) internet relationships and (B) being in a job that won't let me relocate at the moment. But she and I visit one-another fairly frequently, so it's all good. :)

Financial troubles may be weighing on a lot of people's minds, though--especially on the minds of anyone who's invested heavily in the stock market. This is a bad time for that kind of investment. . . but it's a good time to consolidate loans, refinance, etc.! :D

I am fairly new here, but indeed we are bonded together just like any family...we will disagree and discuss endlessly, try to one up, be silly, play and then pile like puppies do at the end of a hard day...together and happy with each other. :)
