Happy Imbolc to you all and I was wondering if you were doing anything for a ritual or celebration?

I worked, lol, I don't think that counts. No, I don't think I'll do anything. It's sad but...meh. After getting back from work I'm too exhausted to really do anything else but eat and play a video game. Hope everyone else had a better Imbolc!

Aww not even light a candle and think of what you want to accomplish this month or even in the year?

Happy Imbolc! This is our first year to celebrate Imbolc. I'm getting ready to light a candle and say some words that I found here on MW. We were supposed to make candles, but it was cancelled due to snow. I'm new at all this, I'm sure next year I'll have a lot more ideas!

Oh, and I'm making some bread and funny enough, the kids watched how they make cheese on a show today right after we were talking about the origins of Imbolc (& the *other* holidays that came from Imbolc) :)

I know how that goes... not haveing time to set things up/practice....

I try to at least Meditate on the holiday and whats going on at this point in my life, as well as remember the meaning and importance of the holiday... If I don't even do this... I feel as if it doesn't matter if it existed anyway

I wish I could do more most of the time, rarely do I get the chance to do everything I'd like to, and I Meditate when I can anyway so, I kind of feel as if I'm not doing enough.....

Oh lovely! The bread I make is a wonderful whole wheat recipe from my mother, very few ingredients and the kids love it! I just hate waiting for it to rise! It takes half the day to make it, but that's what made it special. I lit a candle and said a blessing yesterday too. It was nice.

How did your day go?

For Imbolc I spring cleaned my bedroom, I did a small ritual welcoming the God and thanking the Goddess for helping him grow. I thought about what I would like to change in my life then I planted 4 seeds in a pot that i had decorated with candles and runes of luck and new beginnings and health. Theyve come through already! Then I had a mini 'feast' of yoghurt soup, spring casserole and icecream.
