don't worry I'll have a crack, my name's Sam merry meet, I'm nu here, ok.
you feel that christianity failed you and fails other people in the same way, you feel that it robs people of freedom and free love without guilty add-ons,

you use christianity in this dream to symbolise something that u think controlls you, (hence going back to school where you where controlled all the time) this controlling influence has all those negative attributes that I've just described,

you want to be free you want the world to be free, you want people to be able to shout out their deepest desires and not be persecuted for it, and for all that you want justice

the only thing that can help you gain justice is a greater force (a principal?) who can help you after all you are but a mere mortal
you go to this principal, but do you not think that the symbolism in this dream is telling you that you are really looking for god?

I think this dream is really telling you that you have to find your perception of the devine, only then can you and the world be free (maybe not literally . . . but maybe spiritually) you are searching for a greater force in your life and it is trying to get at you through your dreams,
Try not to feel persecuted and listen to your heart, and dont deny paganism if that is where your heart lies

hope that was ok, that was my first dream reading over the internet . . . if any dream readers read that can u tell me if it as any good . . . I was self taught and i use psycology a lot so its a strange style I've found

ok :)
Blessed be
Merry part

Just a random thought - we often dream of our classmates even if we aren't in school anymore. I can't remember exactly why but it has something to do with the ages 0, 7 and 14 being so influential in our lives, and since one of the biggest influences then is school and our friendships that often stays with you.

In short, I think a lot of people still dream about school even when they aren't there anymore.

I was also going to say something along the lines of what Lufterra said when I first heard about your dream (in chat the other day?), especially since you mention having to climb the mountain to get to the principal. The principal could also symbolize getting permission from (the Christian) God for having your own beliefs. You might've injured your foot because we can't stand face to face with God no matter how hard we try until He chooses to stand before us or help us.

Very good interpretation, Lufterra!:) I wanted to add that bedrooms represent the private self, and dreaming of being in school can indicate childhood insecurities that have still not been resolved. School also represents learning from life over periods of time. Teachers are a classic symbol of authority and can actually represent others in your life such as parents. Mountains represent the realm of the higher self, the part of you that possesses transcendent wisdom. Climbing a mountain can represent your desire and commitment to achieve this higher plane of consciousness. As Myst said, injuring your foot could represent obstacles and challenges on your spiritual journey.

On the surface, while you may have been dreaming about your feelings about Christianity, be open to the fact that the dream may represent other issues in your life.

Incidentally, we're discussing this in IRC, and as I commented, just because one never believed in/worshipped the Christian God doesn't mean he couldn't appear in a dream.

Especially in this case where you comment you've always had discrimation problems with Christians. :)

I'm only stressing that because I never dreamed about the Christian God either until I was Pagan for a long time and consciously very ok and happy about it. In two dreams after that I died and went to judgment :)

I dunno, just a thought ;)

Ow

If you like to interprent dreams than I got loads of them to tell!
I never understand my dreams, most of them just make me scared, sometimes even :( cry :( when I think about them.
I don't know why, but still every morning I try to recall them. Stupid me.

Here's one of them if you want to know what they are like:
I am in a darkened room with my family. There is no electricity, but that seems to be normal. There is a table in front of me, with lots of drinks and food on it. (most of them are liquids, like milk and sauces and soup)
That is when horror starts. One of us starts to open up something, I don't remember what it is, perhaps canned food.
Suddenly she screams with a terrible look on her face, then I see what she saw. In the thingy were parts of a dead baby floating around. Then another starts to look at another thing to drink or eat, and again, finds parts of a dead baby. Again and again and again. I get more horrified every second, but they just don't stop.

It has no ending, it ends where I woke up, all shivering and shaking.

Now I have to say, this was one of the scarier nightmares I have had. Don't worry, it never got much worse than this
:p

ok, first Mocari, well done, it can be hard to talk about dreams that upset us and admit the extent to that upset

you're in a darkened room with no electricity, in a room ready to eat food (mainly liquids) and this doesn't itself set off any alarm bells in your head, someone you know (female) goes to eat some of the food, screams and looks terrified and then you realise that there are parts of a dead baby floating in it. this happens with other people in the room and every time they do not expect what they see, scream and the same thing happens, you however don't go to open any of the food and your horror comes from the others actions and reactions, this keps happening until you wake up.

the dark and the lack of electricity compound your fear that you are alone, and although you are in a room with 'friends' and no larm bells have gone off in your head it sets the tone for the rest of the dream. the dark could be a way for your mind to protect itself also, it hides unpleasant things and helps us to ignore things that may upet us . . . it might be that you are afraid that if the room was light you may see something that you do not want to see . . . are you doing that in your life at the moment? are you keepng yourself from seeng something that the people around you see as obvious?

Liquids are the simplest food source, and easiest to digest . . . I'm having trouble with this one . . . are the peole around you striving for simplicity while you watch their lives fall apart because of it? sorry erm, the dismembered baby parts are obviously the most upsetting part of the dream.

A friend of mine had a simalar dream to this where he was beating a baby with a baseball bat and I explained that babys can symbolise a person who you feel you have a omnipotent power over. are you watching the peole around you victimise someone unfairly, does this horrify you, are you scared they'll turn on u? or are they doing something which is having a negative effect on their emotional state?

gotta go might add something else later

And pretty accurate too. I'm not sure if I dare to tell about the situation here, but you were almost completely right.
