job energy please

last week i posted my resume on monster and then friday got an email asking if i'd be interested in an entry level position for my field, i just got my aos for computer programming in june. so i replied back to get more information about the job and i talked to the guy this morning that had emailed me and the job sounds perfect. i've been looking for work for the past month and had been hoping to get into programming.
the job is contract to hire and starting pay is double what i was making at my last job. i'll know in a couple of days if the company wants to meet me for an interview and this would be a great opportunity for me. wish me luck and any energy you can spare would be appreciated. thanks :hugz:

i got another email today saying i should be getting an interview soon with the company that's offering the job, i was starting to think maybe they weren't interested so this is good news.

the company i'll be interviewing with sent me a few emails today. one to fill out a job application and one for a personality test and one was a test for my skills and i think i did horribly on the test, most of the stuff on it i didnt have a clue because i'd never seen it before. i have a bad feeling about this........ :(

Some companies prefer to train from scratch because they don't have to correct what they feel has been learned "wrong". Will keep my fingers crossed that you are applying to such a company.

i'm back from my interview, it lasted for about an hour. it went better than i expected but i dont know yet if i got the job or not, i should hear something within the next 2 weeks. the guy doing the interview was familiar with one of the companies i had worked for in the past and by the end of the interview we were talking about video games.
