(Note: I did note see a forum on symbolism, so I apologize if this is not in the right place)

alright, I'm having the hardest time finding info on this symbol, supossedly it represents trinity (I can see that), divinity, and the danger of being unbalanced, especially in the form of good and evil (or light and dark)....
and I saw a claim that if viewed in 4d (maybe it was a typo, 3d? because I can't imagine what 4d would look like, how would you know?) and laid/displayed a certain way, it will make a pentagram..... not sure if thats true or not but I want to see it
but yeah, any information would be awesome :)
even if it's just theory, it's better than nothing I gues.

i also found this page..
http://www.theeyeofthedragon.com/dragon_eye.html
^^ it says that it is an ancient Celtic protective symbol.
http://www.smallwork.com/dlore.html
which says that it stands for the balance of love, power and wisdom.
i could go on..i searched Eye of the Dragon symbol in Google
http://www.google.co.uk/search?hl=en&q=Eye+of+the+Dragon+symbol&meta=
you get various meanings for it, so im not sure which one is right. but it was an interesting read though.

I don't have any information for you, but I want to say the fourth dimension has something to do with time. There was something about it in "A Wrinkle in Time".

I't probably is Germanic, as it seems thats what most of the sites say....
but some mention in meaning celtic, and none of them really give a background to it.
and I wish I could see that 4d, thing, (or maybe it was meant to be 3d?)
