My hubby and I want to go away for our 10th anniversary. We have been scrimping and trying to stow away some money for almost a year. We found a package on expedia that seems to be a good price but we have never used anything like that before. Has anyone had any experince with them or know of anyone who has?
I would really hate to get screwed.

I've done most of my travel online. . . it's a pretty good way to go, overall. :) I'd check to see, though, if you can't at least get the airline tickets a little cheaper through, say, Priceline. If it's a package deal, though, don't worry about it. . . :)
My tips for buying airline tickets:
1) Buy at least six weeks in advance.
2) Schedule yourself to fly between Tuesday and Thursday. These are low-cost compared to flying on or near a weekend.
3) Check Expedia or Travelocity for ticket prices. . .
4) Then, if you're really in a bargain-hunting mood, go to Priceline and bid half the ticket price you found on the aforementioned websites.

I've used Expedia for plane tickets ~ I actually purchased them for flights within Canada since we were driving up there. They fedexed the tickets to us and we had no problems!
Be sure to read the fine print on any offer ~ some state that you can be subject to additional charges, or you could be subject to indirect flights/layovers, etc.
Good luck! :)

I use Expedia, Travelocity & Orbitz for work Chryssi. Cheap Tickets, if done 5 days in advance, worked really great for us as well.
I haven't had any problems with the trips I've booked for the guys here.
