An idea for a new herbal discussion

There are so many plants around us, growing wild, that are actually great herbs. But most of the time, they're just weeds to us. I was thinking we could pick a common "weed" and try to find out everything we can about it. Anyone that's interested can pick a plant they have growing near them. Find out the medicinal purposes, any spiritual connections, folklores, etc, and post your finding here.

What do you guys think? Is everyone too busy?

you know i was wondering about chickweed. it has totaly taken over my flower garden. it is quite common. let me know what you think about discussing it o.k.?

Ooohh chickweed... nice in a salad :)
( Also good on cuts, burns, and rashes :) )

The only wild herb I REALLY know a lot about is plantain. EVERYONE has plantain growing somewhere, might as well use it!
