Astrology isnt my thing, other than the typical, I am an Aries Rat and fit it too! LOL

I am curious of the age thing, meaning the age of Aquarius, or Taurus, or whatever.

I heard we are in the age of Pisces and in 2050 or something we go into the age of Aquarius.
( now that song, ' this is the dawning of the age of Aquarius' is going through my mind.)

I was wondering what age are we in and when does it change and into what?
Also, what do these ages mean in a nut shell? :smileroll

Thank you, thank you very much.

it depends on who you talk to. But every 2000 or so years we enter a new age. some said we entered it in 1881 while others about 1945. Still Carl Jung said it was in the 1990's. Still people say it will happen in 2300 to 2400's. So if we aren`t in it, i would definitely think it would be about 2050.

What it is is this: As you know it takes a year for the sun to go around the zodiac and it takes 28 days for the moon to go around the zodiac and it takes 1 day for the horizon to race through the zodiac. Well . . . The earth spins on it's axis but it just doesn't spin simply and vertically. The Earth is actaully tilted on it's axis so it is not perfectly vertical. Not only does the earth lean to one side but it wobbles too. Which means that the tilt is always changing. It is always describing a circle.

Well the tilt of the earth goes through the zodiac too as the earth slowly wobbles on it's axis. It takes about 26, 000 years to go through the whole zodiac. Approximately 2160 years in each sign. We change signs when the tilt of earth wobbles away from pisces into aquarius. The astronomy is not clear cut so maybe this has happened two hundred years ago and maybe not.

A notable change is a change in the mythology that is most predominant at the time. The mythology of Pisces involves someone falling into the sea and being saved by being swallowed by a big fish. This becomes the dominant theme of the age of pisces and is found everywhere whether as fairy tales (Pinocchio) or in religions (eg the bible. The people asked Jesus for a sign and he told them that there'll be no sign for this age other than the sign of Jonah, jonah too fell in the sea and was saved by a fish). Aphrodite too fell in the sea when escaping from typhon and was saved by the same fish. and on and on and on. . . . The myth is worldwide.
