I have been following this forum for a while now and I'd like to start posting now. :) I started reading/learning my first deck of tarot cards about 7yrs. ago and have gone thru different phases throughout that time. Being new, then learning meanings, keeping journals, then creating my own notebook, which I keep with my cards, from the many books/websites I've found over the years (Why? Because I like how others phrase their responses- my own words get stuck somewhere between my brain and my mouth :) )

The phase I am in now is a strange one and it all stems from one question. I feel that I can't trust my own interpretations right now. The cards say one thing to me one day and something else the next. I don't know why this is happening, but it's a bit frustrating since I've never had a problem before. Usually, if I repeat a question over the length of a few days, the cards may change, but the feeling/nature is the same. Weird or simply a phase I'm going thru?

Sorry about the long intro, but I'm at my wit's end. :) I haven't gone to anyone else with this question.

Okay, my question (to all those who are up to the challenge, you have my thanks in advance!) is of a financial matter. I am expecting a WINDFALL -a lot of money to start my dream, a Bed&Breakfast, does it look like I'll get it within the next 6 weeks?

I will gladly trade readings- my confusion seems to be just for my own cards. :)

I woud venture to say that it will come when the time is right, and you are ready for it...

there are alot of things you would need to do on the physical realm to work in harmony with the work that is being done in the astral...

you will need equipt, food, employees.. an accountant, an attorney, insurance, health codes to adheare to...

my advice would be to start prepareing and setting out an implimentation plan for once the resources are in place...

this way, when the Goddess wills it to be time, you will know what to do...

Good luck, and hope this helps...

uh, by the way, 6 months is a very short time to prepare,
is that enough time for you?

:)

Incidentally, many tarot readers won't read for themselves for just that reason. Our personal feelings, desires, and fears, can get in the way - one day you may read the cards and they look auspicious and you get excited, but then you are worried you're just hoping it does and influencing the reading, and the next you're convinced they're warning you but worry it's only you're fears you're seeing and not the real cards. And it's true that you may think you see things and not be sure you really do and aren't just hoping/fearing you do, or not see them and worry the other way. Since tarot reading is so much about feelings and impressions when you're feelings and impressions about something are that wound up in hopes in fears the readings are bound to be awry.

Thank you for your input! :) I should've clarified my position a little- I own a little coffee shop now, but eventually plan to open a B&B. I have gone back to school p/t to finish my degree and my husband is running the shop.

Long story short- I will be receiving enough money to start my B&B, but I'd like it sooner than later :) so that is my reason for asking if it will be within the next 6 mo.

Myst- you are so right about me influencing the cards... that is how I was feeling before writing to this forum, but I didn't want that to be true.
