Rick has an 80% blockage in the artery to his left kidney. He goes to the cardiologist on Tues afternoon to discuss options.

My guess after all I've been through is that they'll do a stent. BUT they could just put him on a thinner first. (who wants to second guess a doctor??)

So, guess we'll just keep this going until it's all complete.

in the emergency room , with 235 / 135...no fun...

It felt like a form of numerical russian roulette...

Turns out the cardiologist's office didn't tell the complete truth about being on our insurance plan...being under negiotations is not the same as being an approved provider.

Thankfully, I'd been checking on payments on claims and such and found out that he wasn't. (uck...hate to think of THAT bill out of network)

So--we're working on getting him in with the doc who did my heart cath. So, things are put off for a bit.
