As always, I enjoyed the folklore bit.

I went to an environmental school/course for a semester back in the day where all we used to clean everything was completely natural. It always astounded people just how clean everything would get and there weren't any harsh chemicals.

I grow herbs and vegetables in the spring-fall, but I miss having fresh herbs during the winter as well. I think I'll start a small herb garden that I can transplant later.

What I like best about using 'green' cleaners is the lack of chemical scent. It doesn't have to smell like a "Fresh Rainforest" to smell clean. I went crazy on my kitchen today, and it looks wonderful now. Lighting's a problem since it's an apartment kitchen with no windows and tends to be very cave-like with the dark cupboards.

Is there any way you could bring a lamp or two into the room to brighten things up? Also placing mirrors across from any light source can really brighten up a room. Don't forget candles and lanterns.

I really hate the fact that I'm gonna be falling a bit behind. This week I've only had 3 days at home. I started back to work. Tomorrow I'm meeting with my lawyer and then on Mar 4 I'm meeting with ICBC. Long story short, I was in a car accident in 06 and it's finally getting settled now! So I've been and am dealing with that plus I've got regular household chores and the baby to look after. Needless to say I've been very busy and havent even had time to do the assignments. I've read them over, I just havent done anything yet. Next week should be less hectic I hope! I hate to fall behind but I just wanted to let you know. Hopefully it wont be too bad and I'll catch up quickly!!

Its alright. The class isn't going anywhere, even if you are a little behind. pretty well everyone is a little behind. *waves hands* its a HEARTH class, a class about a magickal HOME lol if at any class, its okay if your HOME life gets in the way a little.
You could turn in the assignments 3 weeks late and I'll probably still be around :hehehehe:
