Lord and Lady -
Please give me strength as I leave this position. I have just sent out my departure notice and am suddenly saddened and scared as I step out onto my new path. Here, I am stagnant yet safe; respected but not renewed. I am embarking onto an adventure that I can not predict. Will I be able to live up to the expectations? Will I fail? Only time can answer this and I have to trust my heart. I believe I have been led here, that everything I have done in the past has prepared me for this challenge. But at this moment I am terrified, doubting myself and feeling as a little bird must feel looking at the ground before its first flight.
Please give me strength. I know that this is a lesson in itself. It's right to step out of my comfort zone. I need to grow. I need to change. I need to challenge myself. Help me to break through the fear and be empowered.
Thank you also, Lord and Lady, for the opportunities I have before me. Thank you for the lessons and wisdom each experience brings.
