They've changed the zoning for my rural area and are turning it into subdivision. We were supposed to be out TODAY. But we just can't find a place for us, dogs, horses etc. Every time we think we have, it falls through. Misty Acres Kennel and Farm has gotta find a new home ASAP!
Oh stress :ack:

I'm a BC girl myself, I wish you luck in finding a new home in BC.
Have you looked at the okanagan? We have loads of land out here.
Sending energy that the right home would make itself apparent to you.

Thanks guys. We have been looking the Okanagan but land is expensive there, and they have insanely strict bylaws for dogs and such. We actually left there a few years ago lol

Ohhh Juniper Im sorry I missed this earlier. I know how it feels to be moving out with no place to take the critters you love. I will keep you in my prayers that you find a safe and happy home for you and your animals.

No leads. Looks like we might be living on a friend acreage in the RV for the time being. The horses will be boarded out and I will have to figure out some kind of portable fencing for the dogs.
The landlord wants us out before they take the house down so he can scavenge it for parts.
I told him he can bring me the proper paperwork.

Hey babe, just a longshot.... A friend of a friend of a friend in mine lives in BC. Contact Ancient wisdom or Zelan on this board and they might be able to put you in touch with the 5&2 shelter. You might prefer living on your friends place, you might prefer not to live on anothers good graces, so choice is yours. As for housing for animals, I am not sure what they have exactly, let the lovely people I mentioned just now find out if you would be eligible or not.
Hope it works out soon. Blessings on you.

Thanks.
I have rescue dogs, so some of them are scared to death of kennels, strangers or will not eat or go outside to go potty if I am not around. So they cannot be boarded.
