Another new member here. Hi! I'm also quite new on my pagan path (so new that I'm not yet even sure if I really should call myself 'pagan'). I used to be an atheist and had a very scientific view of the world, but during the past few months my thinking has turned towards a more pantheistic view of the Universe. Also, I've given much thought to magic and the possibility of its existence. I'm still working on it, but I feel that a pragmatic approach "If it works, it's true" appeals to me. Anyway, this is the direction I'm coming from. I don't know, where I'll end up.

I found this forum while I was searching for information about pantheism and later about neopaganism in general through Google. This forum came up and I ended up reading a lot of interesting threads here. I've found here a lot of useful information, so thank you, everyone!

A very interesting post. I and many other Trad Witches in Traditional Witchcraft (which is not Wicca) believe in Naturalistic Spirituality, a form of pantheism that subscribes to the belief that God and Nature is actually the same thing. We view Nature as encompassing all of the physical world and the SpiritWorld, and that Nature is the personification of the divine. In doing so we believe in humanistic naturalism. BTW, you might be interested in the popular pantheist site, http://www.pantheism.net/.

If you believe in pantheism, and not in Christianity, Judaism, or Islam, then by definition I would say you are a Pagan. :boing:

As for magic, might I suggest the book, The Science Of The Craft by William H. Keith. Keith explains the principles of magic and psychic phenomena through the eyes of quantum physics.
