Last nite I got home and was filled with some extreme anger and frustration so just had to walk around and try to burn it off. Back and forth and all around my yard I went till I ended up near the spring house and pond. The sound of the running water was soothing to me and I finally ended up sitting down near the pond.

Now as I sat thier I noticed the reflection of the tree's and sky upon the pond surface. The flight of birds accross the heavens reflected upon its surface. Even things that where vague in shape or density as I looked into the sky at them where nearly sharp and crisp in their reflection upon the waters surface.

Even with the ripples originating where the spring feed into the pond barely mared the sruface of the pond. Like a gentle undulating wave the surface gave only the slightest of indications of anything happening.

As a Shaman (Am I (?) think so ) I noticed that we speak of alternate realms and levels of awarness yet here before me was a realm I hardly ever noticed or experemented with.

If I looked from one angel, into the depths of the water my vision sank. Muddy bottom and debrie with an occasional floater. Yet shift but a little and the reflective surface of an inverse world appeared. Claer and crisp in apperance, just inviting you to jump in.

Now i've used the pond surface for scrying and cloud reading yet for all the times I looked upon it this was the first time I really though about an inverse world. An Alice threw the looking glass world so to speak.

It is a reflection of our world but is it a doorway to that reflection or just an illusion to make us ask?

As to your last question... I'm not sure that there is truly an alternative world that can be reached through the surface of a pond. If I am to take you literally, of course.

The way you described your vision "sinking" is classic scrying, to me. I think what you were doing was a form of meditation.

pentagonal structure...check Roger Penrose...water holds imprint ;
check the new research...though ancient knowledge to some of us ,
of the Japanese scientist , and his work with water , in recent years...
interesting , we use pentagonal , and pentagrammal sigils
in mgieckal retual...imprinting our water , with a "structure"...

Thus , as the deeper you study the pentagon / pentagram , you
shall find it's recursive and inverse nature...a mirror reality ,
with tesseract properties , inherent in it's structure...

Honestly I can't say for sure. Many times I write what comes to mind and just go with what it seems to tell me. This was one of those where it seemed correct to put it upon the winds, ok cyber winds. Perhaps a journal of sorts for I do come back to it and can see the event in my minds eye again.

But perhaps just one of the survivors of my writings where many end up in the bit bucket and are gone forever this one shall survive.

You know Shawn I have seen that tesseract structure for many many years but never new what it was. A lot of times I would find myself walking up creek beds or streams until I found a hollowed out area and always though of a doorway each time.

So many times I though if I just stepped into the pool and dove in I could cross over through the gate. A gate within a gate if one could just line up the points.

Yet it was never a straight into or out of doorway but one that was like looking into a jewel and noticing that light refracted to enter the doorway. Sometimes if you looked at just the right angle and from the right direction you could see a reflection of something else within the depths of the water.

It was almost like seeing a square of "something" formed in the water but yet not a part of the pool you where actually looking into. Almost as if it where a door that you could go through.

For a long time I refered to the structure as a dragon ball. I once tried to make one out of connects sticks. It was something I could see in my mind and draw in a diagram but could never get it to look like my Dragon Ball or Dragon Gate.

I think a lot of time I connect the Dragon Ball or Dragon Gate to a water entrance. It's always something that never has a direct line of sight but always reflected or refracted. I also known if I hold certain crystals in my hand I can sense the gateway.

I will say your words are touching something in me like a memory that is trying to rise to the surface. Yet it is elusive, almost like looking into a smoky quartz, I can see through it but it is not clear. But put a little light to it and one heck of a rainbow of color is created upon the wall.

Well...there are different gates...one is the pentagonal tesseract ,
or another , the Sri Yantra tesseract...

Another type of gate , to the upper world , is a hypercube , which
is a movement "forward" , then , 90 degree turn...

A third , to the underworld , may be approached , via a chaos fractal
similar to an infinitely descending vortex...described in the Petro
tradition of Vodoun , or I believe Whitley Strieber described it , in
one of his books...

There are membrane gates , which are more oval , in shape...

You know I realize their are many gates and pathways to those gates but I wonder if some of us are not more prone to a given set of gates or entry points?

For me water has been the primary gateway for as long as I can remember. Heck even when I try using the tree scenairo , I end up going with the flow of water threw the tree vice top , bottom and middle world.

I do wonder about the fact my grand father was a water witch and so too where some of my other relatives. It seems Water is the gateway for my line.

Unless you're meaning that rather than a "gate", it's more of a "window" to see through, but not be traveled.

I am not sure if it's just a window or a doorway. One place I visited I new if I jumped in it was a gateway. To where I do not know but each time I tried to get close enough to jump in I was stopped. Sometimes by human hands or presence at other times by nature herself and the things that came out of the woods around the hole.

Sadly a hurricane came through and caused a flood that washed out the spot and filled it with dirt and deadfall. Water still rises from it but it is buried today. Even the area about it was changed greatly by the flood waters and debrie it carried into the area.

Other times it is like a window I can look through and watch but can never truly interact with it.
