Hello everyone. I have a rather broad question to ask, and there is so much information on this board, I'll admit I have no idea where to start. Could anyone tell me a bit about Asatru? I know only the basics from school and random readings from books or online, but I feel I may be missing something about it.

Here's why I ask. I have a friend, a coworker, who is Asatruar. In fact, he is an ulferine. I would like to learn more about the path he follows, and thus, all of you. Now, I come from a bit more of a Kemetic background, at least recently. I know a little about Odin, Thor, and several other gods. But I would like to learn more. If there is a book that you could recommend or something, I would greatly appreciate it. I'd like just to hear from you, my Viking brothers and sisters. (If you don't mind me using that term.)

Hope that wasn't too rambly.

The same list of links that EJ1096 is referring to is also on a separeate page of mine that you find on my book hoard page. The beginner links are at the top HERE (http://ltcgen.googlepages.com/heathenlinks). If you just want simple answers about your friends faith then they will do wonders.
