Cool Twig! Eshallet's b-day is August 8th.

Not only will the first edition of LOTR come out on Aug. 6th....the UNCUT version (with all the nifty scenes) will be out in November. Just before the Two Towers. Due out in theaters December 18, 2002.

Picture it.....December 19, 2001....Eshallet & I get to the theater, and even tho' we pre-ordered our tix, we still have to wait in line. So I run to the B&N across the way & grab a magazine...."Dungeon".

Here I am, waiting for the BEST movie of 2001 to come on the screen on it's opening nite, reading a gaming magazine, surrounded by so many others like me. I turned to Eshallet and said: "Honey, I'm such a Geek. I'm waiting for LOTR reading Dungeon Magainze. Can't get any geekier than that."

LMAO hey!! I won Best Dressed Nerd in 11th grade because the guy running the show WASN'T a nerd, and he yelled out "HEY WHAT'S A NERDY QUESTION??" and I yelled "WHO WAS THE CAPTAIN ON THE STARSHIP ENTERPRISE?" and proceeded to be the only one present able to answer it. . . and he thought of several other star trek questions LMAO that only I could answer. . . :D I'm such a nerd.

OOOH and when I went to see Dungeons and Dragons. . . for the first about five minutes, the film had no sound. . . now, if you've seen it, you remember how you see the gears creaking around and stuff like that. . . people were shouting out things like "CREEEK EEEK EEEEK" and "HEY LET'S GO LOOT THE CONSESSION STAND! I GET ALL THE GOLD PIECES!!" and various other D&D references. . . LMAO

the movie was such a dissapointment, though!! I've had better acting over a tabletop. *chuckles* I could've played better in that movie! :D


hey, doesn't "Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets" come out on November 15th?

I bought my DVD copy last weekend at my local video store and now I hear there is going to be an extended version?
grrrr. I knew I should have gone with my mom's theory.
She says, Im not buying any of the DVDs until all the movies are out in a couple of years. She figures there will be a collectors edition then with all 3 movies. Always listen to Mommy :D
Oh well, Ive already watched my DVD 3 times anyway and definately have received my money's worth, I love it.

Actually the RUMOR I heard there will be THREE releases. August 6th is just the movie. Then November there will be 2 releases.....

One all the extra stuff and the third set will be the UNCUT RATED R version. More battles!!!!! WOOT!!! Whichever...i'm definitely geting the two.

yep yep I have my copy I bought last weekend in a little video store. It's the real deal (not a copy) but he did admit he has a "source" to get the movie early. (He gets everything 2-3 weeks early) I have the dont ask questions policy with him. :D
It costs 5 bucks more, but I was willing to part with an extra 5 bucks to get the movie early. I loved it in the theater and could NOT wait to get it on DVD.
I love the "little guy" video store, I HATE, no, LOATHE Blockbuster! They ran all the little guys out of business. You know the ones,
where the guy actually knows your name and says oh your a couple of hours late returning? eh dont worry about it. blah blah you know what I mean.
ANYWAY, I love it. Can't wait til the two towers.
