Hello and thanks for your response.. also to clarify things - my name isn't Phoebe - I used it for my ad on the uni notice board because some people know me as Annyka and I wanted to remain anon - I forgot to delete it on the copy over. My real name is Caroline. My Witch name is Kaylun Annyka Acaros Snayke... But I usually go by Annyka.

Ne how in reference to where I should but my post and regards to runes.. I decided to post here because I use my runes to divine the spiritual advise I give... Only I don't use the conventinal rune (Furthak Runes I think they are called) I created my own - I made the runes from clay and used the Seax-Wica runic alphabet and then gave each one their own meaning and meditated with them.. I only started using them about 1 year after I completed making them.

So here is what your reading said...

Well - You are the 2nd person who I have done this for over the internet - I have never read runes for someone I have never met besides you and 1 other. I am still waiting on feedback from the first person... Can you please give me your advice/comments/critisism (even if it isn't all good) when you know if I read for you correctly.

& explainging about your name ;) Caroline is a really beautiful name, I have a good friend called Caro for short.

The reading has given me something to think about! although at the moment I cant see nay of the complications or issolation themes you talked about.
We are planning to move either next Friday or Saturday and at the moment cant get any muscle to help with the heavy stuff.. Im pregnant (got about 7 weeks to go) and thus cant lift heavy boxes and furniture, so i think this is what may get me a down a little as I always like to be in the middle of the action and Ill just have to oversee and twiddle my thumbs while my everything gets moved around me..
Ill also look out for any other themes of isolation and complications that come up, but we are both very, very excited about the move and our coming baby :D

After the move is curious too, as Im planning to decorate and prepare for the baby so I will see what comes up...
hopefully meeting new neighbours and making new friends as a couple living next door are supposed to great fun and very similar ages to us, they also have a 9 month old little girl :)
& its great to know that we will be happy in the our new house for years to come :sunny:

Well... that was the hardest reading I have ever had to do.

My feelings from the reading tell me that neither of these people are your soul mate/future 'main spouse' (for lack of terminology). I get the feeling that the decision is really up to you because someone else is on their way into your life who you are meant to be with.

I didn't like your reading ..

It appears that you are going to be faced with something that will cause you a lot of frustration. It will require a lot of strength and protection from other sources (maybe a protection spell or body guard) to defeat the object of frustration. It also says that you may need to change something about your self or current way of living to get the required strength to defeat the problem.

I didn't get any good feelings from the runes I pulled, although I did get the feeling that you will find a way to defeat it. I think it may involve your children (as I asked for it in relation to you and your children) but I get the feeling that it relates mostly to you - but (as with any parent) what affects you will affect your children.

I also got the feeling that it may be an illness.. Maybe the illness will require you to change your diet or something...

Whatever it is - it will be hard for you to go through - but you will do it... Get protection from somewhere (very predominant in your reading)

that was fascinating. And the emphasis on me needing a protector, or protection. . . I've been beginning to get this message on my own, as of late. It's becoming to the point where I cannot ignore it anymore. I used to be able to protect myself in certain cercomstances. . . more than adequetly. But. . . for some reason, I do not yet fully understand. . . I havn't been able to do so anymore. And it's a source of extreme frustration and confusion to me. . . because this was something that came easily and naturally to me before. My ex always made a point of playing "protector" because he could hold power over me, make me feel as though I were in danger without him. When we broke up, I discovered that I could indeed protect myself, that I was strong. . . . and as I said before. . . Lately, I simply havn't had that ability. I don't know why.

An illness, you mentioned. . . as far as I know, I am not seriously ill. . . I have a question. Would, in the place of "illness", "pregnancy" work? Could that be the thing that would cause major change, and more of a need to be protected?

You see, what fascinated me. . . .

I have no children.

I always ask about it, because *smiles softly* I really am incorrigible about it. I should not have any children yet (not through college, nor do I have a house or steady job), but I do long for that. So I like to ask - to see what others might learn about it. Very curious. Probably too much for my own good. . . *chuckles*

Actually a pregnancy would make lots of sense as a pregnancy would bring change and you could feel frustrated as you said aren't in the position to have children..

But -- I didn't get the feeling that it was a pregnancy - unless there were problems with the pregnancy... or you think pregnancy is not a good thing (this can be temporary) ...

It was funny though when I was reading the runes - I specifically asked for something relating to you and your children yet I got the feeling they only related to you --- I guess that is because you don't have children -

well. . . I'm going to be 18 in about 4 months. ^^ pregnancy would be a bad thing right now, much as I wish to be a mother.

I. . . also have a lot of 'irrational' fears about miscarrage. Even if it was a 'safe' time to get pregnant. . . I don't know. I've had a lot of old dreams and stuff about losing babies. I am afraid that if I ever become pregnant, I'll lose the child, no matter what I do. So. . . that too, might relate. It's one of my biggest fears - that I cannot have children.

If you stay at work your life will be complecated and everything will keep going around in circles. The same problems you had in the past will happen in the present and in the past.. Everything will be like one big circle.. It is suggested that you change this area in life - yet you can't decide what you want to do. Your job feels secure - yet going to school will allow you to start a new life.
You need to gather a lot of courage to break free from the security you feel.

If you go back to school, you will need courage to cope with the frustration. This may come from the lack of security, frustration from the self disipline needed or lack of spending money and time... You will also be faced with many complecations through out your study which will make things more difficult for you.

In relation to what you should study, I pulled the 'path' rune.. This means that the decision is yours. You know what you want to do. You should look into your heart and do what it tells you.. Don't choose something because of what someone else tells you to do.


This was a strange reading. I feel that your studies will be very hard that they may be faced with opposition from someone or some people close to you. I feel that you should, however, do the study that you want - regardless of what others say - as in the long term this will make you happier

Just wanted to update you ~ first, a pair of shoes that I bought on sale two years ago and never wore turned out to match my outfit perfectly......

I walked in and found that I knew one of the interviewers from the community, he is on their board. And their board director has already seen my resume ~ she remembered that I did some political campaigning for her a few years ago and gave me a "high recommendation." :eek: I did not even know that she was involved with this agency! They are not making a decision until the 28th (Isa again) but it looks good! :D

I'm just about to make several major changes in my life - moving halfway across the country to a new city, moving in with my boyfriend, and returning to university as a mature student. Obviously, I'm pretty nervous about all of this, but especially about the whole university thing - I'm worried that I won't be able to keep up with the course, that I've been away from college too long to get back into it, that I'm actually just too stupid to go back, etc... Is it possible to do a reading to show how this might turn out, and what sort of problems I might face?

On your move:

Just before moving you will experience a little frustration but this won't last long. The move will be fairly easy once you have started. You will have to demonstrate some patience while things settle, but all will end well and you will grow as a person.

On moving in with your b/f:

Initially when you move in with your b/f you will have to face some oppostition. Things may not go as you planned and you may feel the need to separate from your b/f. You need to consider changing some of your ideals which will cause you to grow and work things out with your b/f.

On university:

Wow - lots of runes :) umm...

When you start uni you will want to leave straight away. You need to be patient and gather some personal strength. It suggests that the ideas you have for uni - maybe the course you are doing may not be the right path and that you should change your mind - there is another course at uni that is closer to the path you want to take and will give you energy to grow.


In all of your readings I pulled out the rune for Growth - You are going to grow so much from this experience in your life.

Your comments about what might happen with my boyfriend are interesting... we're actually expecting a lot of difficulty and opposition for various reasons - a major one being that he comes from a family of fundamentalist Christians, and they are, shall we say, not very keen on him living - out of wedlock, too! - with a dirty godless pagan. :) It wouldn't surprise me if they actually turned up on my doorstep with flaming torches to try and drag him back home...

The thoughts about my course were interesting too - I'll keep that in mind, I am very anxious about the course I've chosen, whether I can really cope with it, and so on, so if it does turn out to be a bad choice then I'll keep in mind what you've said about another one which is closer to the path I want to take...

The first two runes indicate what you can look forward to in the near future; i.e., six months to one year. The second rune is also related to the present.

The first rune I drew for you was Gifu, or Gebo. It symbolizes connection, gift, exchange, interaction and balance. I'm getting that there is or has been a strong bond and commitment between you and your husband and that your marriage has been a safe and secure relationship. I'm getting that the relationship is strong enough to survive negative influences from outside people or sources. As strong as this relationship is, it seem that you feel that there is something essential missing and you are seeking it outside these bonds to balance the positive and negative. If your husband is agreeable to your pursuing another relationship, you will need to be willing to give him something in return. I'm getting that if you decide to try an open relationship for a while, things between you will remain stable enough for your marriage to survive. mmm very strange. I was fairly certain you were going to get the job. The job is meant to be yours. I read the runes again for you:

Every thing in the following weeks will require an underlying strength and an overpowering need to isolate your self or something from your life/situation.

You will feel frustration and full of ideas. You need to be patient in finding out the reason. The reason you didn't get the job is unknown and complecated.

I feel that this job was meant to be yours, but the person who got the job got it due to the wrong reasons - maybe they have connections. Annyka, I'm intuitively getting the same feeling, very strongly. Not to toot my own horn, but I KNOW that there was no one more qualified than I am. It immediately brought to mind motion. I also had a dream that someone who was observing me teaching a class turned out to be someone who could be of help. I actually did two forms of divination for your questions. I used my pendulum chrystal and got a straight yes/no answer and then I read the runes in relation to the situation.

Re Parent's financial situation:

Your parents will receive good fortune soon - though not in the near future - as they have to defeat a blockage first. Once they receive the good fortune, their lives will become fulfilled and stronger.

Are you disappointed by the possiblility of the move? If you are not disappointed by the possiblility, you may be disappointed once you move as it wont be what you have expected. I'll be 18 next year and my birthday won't be long after we'd have to leave our current house.

I've met a man whom I love dearly, and we seem to be very suited to each other. We don't spend much time together, due to his work, but that's ok. Could you please do a reading for me? I have two seperate areas that I would like to ask about but the first is what I really need so if you only have time for one, that would be the one I would want.

I have a clothing business that I have been doing off and on since December of 1998. I had a great opportunity last month - my managers gave me some of her customers and I took them so I could put a jump back into my business. This is really what I would like to do so that I can work out of my home and be there more for my daughter. Can you please tell me if I will excel at my business and be able to quit my corporate job?

Secondly: I am in a relationship with someone and his kids are driving me up the wall. I have a child myself so I know kids will be kids but his are a little out of control for me. Can you please let me know the direction this relationship is heading. I don't believe that I should quit seeing him because his kids are a little out of control - as eventually they may grow out of it (or not). :-)

I ran into someone who confirmed for me that the job that you and I both felt was mine - WAS mine. Apparently, the board was strongarmed into hiring someone who's "daddy" got her a job, literally, and they did not want to hire her. It also doesn't look like she's going to work out, but it's likely I'll have another job by then.

C'est la vie......but what does bother me is that this kind of thing isn't fair to us who earn things on our own merits :(

I am not sure if this is directly related to your relationship. I did ask for that, but while reading I got the strongest feeling that it was refering to your relationship with your dad (as if it was a more important issue) - so look for it in both circumstances.
