Greetings Family, friends, neighbors and fellow Pagans!
I want to thank those of you who thought and prayed for me because I FINALLY have good news to tell. After the (I guess necessary) year and a day of struggling I have landed a decent job! (Pending getting my truck running this w/e hehehe)
For those not in the know, I have been struggling, to say the LEAST, this last year to the point that Therese and I were living in a tent at her sons house all last summer and we have been staying at my sisters during the winter. Thank the Gods for unemployment because that is whats been providing us sustenance since the last hammer fell and I got laid off from my latest "career" 2 weeks before x-mas.
But after over 60 resumes in the last 1.5 months I was rewarded last Wed. with the call that yes a company wants me as a maintenance tech. The specifics? Well, even though it will probably only be at $10 an hr to start you can add a FREE apartment as part of the package. So I guess that would actually bump it to ~$15 if you count that.
You know, I have you all to thank for it. Why? Well, because of the afore-mentioned and the fact that even as I thought of truly giving up, every time it seems someone would write and say "You'll be Ok Twig. Trust me". And I have gotten what I really needed i.e. shelter, food and being able to stay "off the streets".
Most of all I have Thereses son and my sister Jacquie and her S.O. Dave to thank. Without them I'm pretty certain T and I would not be together because I would never subject her to the street life that stared us in the face following the loss of my job and home back in July of last year.
So I'll close with another huge hug and kiss and Thank You to you All !!! Please know that each of you are in my prayers for the even passing thought you had for us. And know as always I am here for ANYONE Anytime....but that's a given. ;)
