Does Anybody See The Moon Tonight..

My husband and I just went out to feed our livestock late.. 11:30 or so pm est.. and looked up at the moon.. there was this HUGE RING around it.. like quite a ways away from it and completely around it.. not like a rain ring or anything.. and not a star to be seen.. just a hazy type of moon with this wide, thick smokey ring quite a ways away from it.. never seen anything like it.. it hung over our house like our own private piece of work of art.. ABSOLUTELY STUNNING!!!
I hope someone else saw this other than us.. what a blessing!!!:fpraise:

Ah a Lunar Halo, very cool.
It's caused by particles of ice in our atmosphere.

Actually I did see it!! I live in the midwest and me and my father both saw it, it was great! lol, it was really pretty. :) It's an atmospheric sign that generally predates storms of some sort, and we did have some rain after that.

The World gives us little miracles all the time... especially for those who stop and listen! Sun pillars are gorgeous too... though you have to be an early riser (or like watching sunsets) to catch one.
