Hi Folks,
Just wondering what are your plans for Ostara?
Do you have a set Ritual that you do every Ostara, or do you change it each year?
Any ideas for Magick... Magick that is best done specifically at Ostara?
Have a blessed one

This is my first Ostara. I am only doing a short ritual and I am going to write things I want to be rid of on some dead leaves, then I am planting seeds on top for things I want in my life. I bought a sunflower making kit thing, it's just a kid's one but I thought it was appropriate what with the Sun becoming stronger. I have also bought some chocolate egg and chocolate bunny making kits which I'm going to do with my fiance tonight :D

We have 2 friends coming over tonight. This is the first time the 4 of us will be doing anything witchy together, so we're taking it slow. But this feels like a good time for new beginnings.
We had planned to have a fire in our fire bowl, but the snow has been falling since midnight, so I think that's out.
Vernal Equinox being about balance, I'm thinking of a little spell for balance. We'll have everyone write down one thing we can do to eliminate an imbalance from our lives and burn it, and then scratch a little symbol representing one thing we can do to bring a balance into our lives into our cookies and eat them! I love magic I can eat.

Vernal Equinox is real simple! Color eggs, hunt eggs, visit the Easter Bunny, go for a nature walk to look at all the signs of rebirth. Give thanks and leave offerings. This can be done in a variety of ways. Contemplate your maiden aspect, rebirth, renewal, balance. Have a feast and celebrate the coming of spring.
Ritual, magic, connection to the divine, all can be done at this time if it is what speaks to you. Think about colors of this time...pastels! I drew several pictures this year. Two of which are in pastel chalk.
This is a time to come into balance. Journal about what you need to do in your life to walk the middle path. Spring clean. Make a list of things you need. Out with the old...in with the new. Plan your balance. Physically practice balance...yoga and meditation.
