Ok. Here is a thread for you guys and gals to eat up...do you know anyone that you KNOW is Pagan, but they wont admit it?

(Sounds almost like a Jerry Springer topic)

Lets hear it!

Blessings...

I have a friend who I think is a Pagan. i wont use names...because he might show up here...and you know what? He will know who I am talking about.

Also, I think my Mother-in-law is...but, of course, my wife will probably disagree.

Love and Light.

This is so strange. I never thought I might know "closet pagans". I don't think any close friends are. But now I'm going to be examining some of my more distant friends and relatives to see if I can figure out. That'd be weird to know I know but they don't know I know. lol I hope I didn't confuse anyone.

I don't know about Pagan, but definetely witchy. Oh yeah, I've known a few.

When I was in high school, I became really good friends with my English teacher and her friends. These women were amazing. They're feminists, environmental activists, into magic, creation, the Goddess, and just plain witchy all around. None of them thought of themselves as Christian or any other religion for that matter. One of them gave me my very first tarot deck. I was like 16. They introduced me to a lot of things.

Sort of... but I never actually asked anyone.

I met a German girl who seemed a little uncomfortable saying much about her spirituality except that it was very centred around nature. I suspected, but never asked. I myself felt uncomfortable (with other people around) saying anything more than, 'me too!'

And, not that he wouldn't admit it, but my favourite philosophy professor. I suspected that, and then... at the end of my philosophy of religion class, someone asked him about his own faith! He said he was fundamentalist Christian turned Buddhist turned Sufi turned Neo-Pagan... and now he's just pretty eclectic and nothing specific. He is probably the most knowledgeable person I've ever met... Some of his older writings can be found online, you might be interested:

One of the women at church. Herbalist, aromatherapist, emphasis on motherhood of God...... But she's also a devout Christian so I haven't said anything to her about it. This church knows NOTHING of my witchyness and since it's my grandmother's church I intend to keep it that way....

I love it though, because they aren't pushy :D
