All I can really say is Owwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww *cry*

I have ovarian cysts... two on each side about the size of quarters... well at least I think I do...
I have been having this pain for like over a year now, and every time I go to a doctor they always say "well cysts are normal... all woman get them.
There is not really anything much we can do..." and they put me on birth control.
But last time I was in so much pain that Drew took me to the ER...
that's when they were actually thorough in the exam and found out that I had two quarter-sized cysts on either side. But that was back in like May/June of last year.
Oh... but my regular doctor ordered an ultrasound like two weeks ago, after I bitched at her cuz I was in so much pain. And all they said was "everything looks normal"
Whatever that is supposed to mean... Are they still quarters? Are there still four?
Have they gotten any bigger and maybe that's why I am hurtin so bad???? (they never told me anything)
And I am in so much friggin pain right now I don't wanna move... I don't wanna BREATHE... all I wanna do is curl up in a fetal position and cry and/or scream!!!!!

Goddess help me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

If you hurt that bad, you should be seen again by your doctor asap. And be sure to ask what she means about "everything looks normal".

Do research online and have a list of questions for the doctor.

Get answers to all of them.

Don't let them push you around!!

Here is a starting point with some questions:

If it hurts this bad, I agree, get to a doctor. Go to a diferent one if need be.

Meanwhile, breathe deep, it helps. It'll hurt more in the first couple of munutes, but oxygen helps pain.

Als, I was having the same kind of situation last spring, was told the same thing, that everything looked normal.

They offered no help, except possibly to put me on the pill. If the pain comes back, I might consider it, because I hear you, it is hell.

What seems to have made it go away for me were omega 3 supplements. I don't know if it was coincidence or not, but when I started taking them, the pain finally went away.

The other thing, wear the loosest pants you can, or if need be wear loose fittign skirts or something, nothing that puts any pressure whatsoever AT ALL in your middle area. That's the other thing that seems to help me. When things start hurting, I wear the loosest jeans I have and when I'm home, I leave them unbuttoned or go around in a nightgown.

Meanwhile, assuming insurance allows it or that you can afford it, keep going to different doctors until you find one that helps. Pain is NOT the normal state of the human body, even though for some reason too many gynocologists seem to like to think so.

Sometimes we have to resort to doing our own research, though. I recommend starting with nutrition, you can be following the best food regime ever and still not get what you need because what works for some people doesn't work for everyone.

Good luck. Deep breath, loose clothes, and omegas until you find a doctor who will help.

Go see another doctor, sweetie. they should be doing something to help you. not just say "deal with it." thats just wrong.

I just talked to Drew on Yahoo and I told him if I thought we could afford it (which we can't) I'd be calling someone to take me to the ER.

I agree with what others have said. If a Dr. is brushing off your pain I think it is time to switch Dr.s

Im lighting a candle that something is done to solve the problem. :hugz:
