The scene:
Short redhaired grrl (me) wearing small silver pentacle innocently pumping gas into her car.. when Jesus Freak on a bicycle makes a cameo (not that I have anything against Jesus Freaks...) and shouts the words:
"Jesus loves you no matter what!"
My response:
"uh..mmm... huh?"
"You can be a little witch all you want, but Jesus still loves you!"...
(Even if the truth were told, some people still wouldn't listen.)

...then you reply:
"And you can go around and shout 'Jesus loves you' all you want, and the Goddess still loves you" :p

"a small pentacle" sharp eyed little nuisance wasn't he, about all you can do with fools like that is laugh at then ignore them, as memory serves we've a few christians in our happy band but unlike your "bicycle missionary" they respect our beliefs and we return that respect and that is as it should be everywhere though sadly it is not. in any case, "mithras guide and guard you" along side your goddess.

Or, just grin and wink. After all, alot of the "jesus freaks" who insist on converting every one (including other christians  ) are probably quite bored with many different things. <shrugs> You are probably having more fun with your life then alot of them are because of the fact that you're not constantly in other people's faces trying to change their mind about their fundamental beliefes and values.
In short, you're not constantly stressing yourself out. :) I just do my best to remember that when people do that to me. And I'll some times call back, "Goddess bless you too." It was cute to watch the last guy that tried to get me to change my mind about being a witch cough on his soup. I was very polite and when he asked me why I "dared" to say that, I replied, "Oh, you don't wish to exchange blessings?" I gave him that sweet, innocent "fluffy bunny pagan" look and then walked away.
The sisters sitting at the table nearby thought it was pretty funny. :D I some times think the reason why they don't mind having a few witches on campus is because we know how to have fun. :)

I am still laughing
When people say that to me...I say "thanks! :) I need all the divine beings I can get! :D"
Or "yes, I know...thats why I like your God so much!"
Or "yes, and the Goddess tells me how much she loves you too...and hopes someday you will accept her and be saved"
But then, I am the person who almost got shot for telling a little gang memeber (about 10) not to cut me in line at the gas station!

 Cry? He's the one who is lost and should be crying. Anyone who feels they have to preach their religion to others is only trying to convince themselves they are on the right path!!
