We found out shortly after my anniversary in March. Complete shock, though the hubby knew before hand. Evidently my mood swings have been kinda... telling. lol
My best friend figured it out before me too.
Made me feel kinda disconnected from myself, you know? But I'm doing okay.
I had my first dr. appt on Tuesday and get the results of the bloodwork today.

Congratulations! What kind of blood work do they do in the states? I've never had to get any blood work done except for the standard check for iron levels, stds and immunities.

I have a history of miscarriage. But some bloodwork is fairly standard - they check the hCG levels and sometimes an HIV test.
In my case, they did a slew of them, including my progesterone... which, it turns out is too low. I'm going on hormones for it... Its been a rough day.
*sigh*

thanks hon. :) :hugz:
so after being a bit moody about the progesterone, and worried, since that's why I miscarried before. A friend sent me a link to this wonderful thread where a few women all with low progesterone hung out together throughout their pregnancies as a support team. It made me feel a lot better.
yay for good friends. :)

Congratulations!!! :D
Don't worry too much about the progesterone thing - getting treated for it is very easy and is the most important part. I had very low progesterone at the beginning of my pregnancy.. and now I have a very healthy happy little boy. As long as you're on the hormones, you should be fine. :hugz:

Thank you Ravenseye, again. :) And Rubyrose.

So my husband and I will need to move when our lease is up this summer. our apartment is too small, and moving with a baby in tow is far more difficult than moving before the baby's here.
I was fine with that, until my husband started worrying about it. Now I'm worrying about it. *headdesk*
silly me. I know we'll be fine, but there's so much change on the horizon.

Don't worry, I'm sure the move will go fine, just concentrate on your baby and look after yourself.
Are there any Kemetic Gods that might be useful for moving or starting over or Gods of change?, maybe you could ask or pray to one of them for some help in finding and getting a good place that you can afford that's suitable for bringing up a baby and/or making the move stress free (that is, if you are still a Kemetic Pagan?).
Hope everything works out alright :hugz:.
BTW, and if this is too personal, you don't have to say, but when do you go for the scan, and find out the baby (or babies) sex?.

The scan for gender is a long long way off still - though by then it'll feel like no time, I'm sure.
I have to get an early ultrasound because of my medical history.
:hugz:
I still follow the Kemetic Gods, to a point, but not solely. I'm looking at doing some work in the direction of clearing the way for a new place, but I don't want to jump the gun and end up losing my current home before the lease is up. lol

I'm so sorry. I helped a friend through her miscarriage once, so I have seen how hard it can be on someone.
