tell me your favorite trees, and what they represent(if you know) or
what they mean to you!
Me like the Oak. It just means stalwart to me, able to take it.

Flar my Friend, That is one I have to ponder on!!
Oh man. Would you should ask a kid what their favorite candy is. ;) For each tree is as individual as a person once you get to know them.
Ahem, I meant which GENUS Twig! Heheh ok. My favorite tree is the red cedar. Why? Because there is a special tree that I go to for my rituals and is my spot of comfort. That tree chose me a long time ago. It's trunk grows such that a man can crawl through or just sit inside the tree itself! if one wishes to feel the true power of the Earth...Gods I can't even put the experience into words!
It was there that the cedars chose ME. I really had no choice in the matter. ;) I first sat under this gnarled old matriarch in a state of great confusion and she said "Listen!" It was then I first heard the Rhythm of the Earth. With that I felt the comfort and acceptance she offered for her kind and I cried in gratatude and knew that I belong to them, not them to me.
They are old lived and very wise. One could definately choose a worse spokeskind to the Gods. :D
My other would be the corkscrew willow. Why?

Whoah, thread necromancy of the highest order!

Sequoias, specifically Sequoia sempervirens.
I also love quaking aspen. I think that's what they're called. With the leaves that seem to ripple and sparkle in the wind? I could totally be wrong about the name...

Woah! A Flar thread...
A poplar tree beside my house took a lightning strike. Without that tree my house would have most likely taken the hit. So it's my most honored. (Tree lived)
