Sexy lingerie sets have reportedly become a hit among Malaysia's ethnic Chinese, who buy them to offer to their dead relatives on the Qingming Festival this Friday.

To mark the day, Chinese traditionally tend the graves of their departed loved ones and often burn paper money, model houses, cars, mobile phones and other goods as offerings to honour them and keep them comfortable in the afterlife.

But paper lingerie has become an increasingly popular offering for dead female relatives, Tan Lay Nah, owner of a paper model shop in the northern island state of Penang, told the Star daily.

its the culture. im chinese and every year there is this period called the hungry ghost festival which ppl believe the ghosts of the dead would be allowed out of hell , and they can roam the earth. during this period, ppl will burn stuff for the ghosts. from what i know, they burn paper money,husbands, cars, clothes, wives, maids, houses and even cell phones.

Just cause your dead is reason to think you may not need something like lingerie. After all being dead is a lot like being alive. The dead do pretty much the same thing as we do the only difference is that their dead. So it could indeed come in handy.
