Hi All,

I was wondering if anyone knew if there are posters available for some tarot cards or certain decks. I am hoping to get a poster for the Moon from the New Pallidini Tarot Deck, and I was just wondering if anyone knew if this would be possible.

A long shot I gues, but I figured it was worth a try.

Thanks.

GDA

Hi GDA! Yeah, there are posters available of certain cards. I don't know if you could find them on the New Palladini deck though. You can always go to the print shop though and enlarge the card that you want made into a poster.
Bizarre. I was just thinking about having a tarot painting for the home. Suddenly, it led me thinking about what card would be appropriate for particular rooms in the house.

Hmm..Interesting point!

How about 'The Lovers' for the bedroom, or even 'The Empress' if trying to conceive, 'Judgement' for a study or home office, 'The Moon' for the bathroom, and 'The Sun' for the kitchen?

Cards like'Wheel of Fortune' and 'The Star' could fit in really anywhere...

Oh my gosh, I was thinking very similar ideas to you. I really like the Star, so I thought that it would be a great place for the living room or family room. Remind people of hope- good things to come.

The Star is one of my favourites..

The dining room and hallway got me stuck for Tarot associations though. Any Ideas?

I too agree with all the rooms/cards so far and would say star for the living room, or a nusery :)

Id say Temperance for the hall, for balance and unity of forces in the household ~ good chi flowing through

& how about the Fool for the dining room to promot lots of friendly talk about adventures, past, present, future, and laughter

Hey we should copy this into a new thread especially for this and start a big dicussion?

As for tarot posters theres quite a few out there ~ I just did a search on google

For some reason, I didn't think about the Fool being in the Living Room, but I totally see how your justification about how the Fool would conjure up adventurous thoughts- past, present, and future.

I was thinking about Temperance in the dining room or hall. Interesting, Silver Venus, that you say that Temperance in the hall is for "balance and unity of forces in the household." I was thinking about balance too. For some reason, I thought that Justice would have to be on the opposite side of Temperance though. I think that Temperance and Justice is the supreme balance.

One deck I have shows the chinese &western astrology signs, and all th planets instead of the minor arcana, and the card depicting Jupiter I have would be perfect in the dining roon

It shows a well-fed, happy guy carrying the horn of plenty, and the image is based on Dionysis (SP?) the god of wine!

I couldn't find anything appropriate in the Major arcana though...

hehe they looks like fun cards!

Mnemosyne, I meant fool for the dining room, now after seeing Silver's cards, I think Id pick the magicain too, as he is often pictured infront of a table his magickal tools.
I agree with you on the Temperance and Justice theme :) and probally would do the same with the fool and magicain in the dining room

I'd really, really like to have the Star from the Aquarian deck. And I think it would be cool to have some smaller versions of each of the Aces from my Robin Wood deck to frame and put on the corresponding walls in my room.

OMG I'd thought about the Magician too, well he is an entertainer!
