View Full Version : Help with a love-reading?

I am using Robert Place's method. I used my Orphalese which isn't allowing me full access as yet because I have yet to register; right now the only deck out of the 3 I can actually use that appeals at all is the "Alchemical Emblems" deck which is a Majors Only.

Well, these are the cards I got:

Judgment, The Lovers, The Devil

To me, this appeared to be the "Central Destination" pattern (he looks for patterns in the cards themselves rather than assigning them pre-constructed positions).

He says that when the figures seem to turn in to something that joins them - that's what this would be - it's that pattern.

Well - I'm not quite sure what to make of Judgment & The Devil in this context.

I have been getting reading after reading predicting starting something up with a particular guy - BUT, it is going to be rather a while before it starts. I am approaching him in a professional capacity 1st of all; after that, the ice will be broken (it is a labor of love for a charity in which he is involved) & I'm given to understand that when I do meet up with him, things will get moving (he knows who I am, evidently, but we have not yet been "properly" introduced).

There is a strong pull on my part - is that what The Devil could be about? & Judgment - is that something to do with using mine, to overcome baser instincts in order to reach out to him & end up where I want to be with him, as opposed to a possible warning against giving way to lesser urges too soon & messing things up?

Well, that's the best I can come up with. If anyone else has thoughts out there, love to hear 'em! ;)

Personally, I read this as -

Judgement as a card representing the "spiritual", the Devil as a card representing the "physical" and the Lovers in the middle as one of "choice". I think it's a caution, of sorts, for you to be completely honest with yourself and with him.

Just so you know, I am not at all familiar with either Robert Place's method or the cards you are using...so I feel kind of odd about saying anything at all. However, since no one has responded and you have asked, I thought I'd give it a go.

Good luck!
