I was wondering if anyone has some stories about successful spells they've accomplished? Most of my spells I have done so far where for protection. They all have gone well. (thankfully lol) Also, I've done a few in the garden to help plants who needed it, they also have been successful.

I have done some spells/rituals to help with protection and self-love/confidence getting through tough times with success.

I also was taking care of my sister dog after she had major surgery on her womb and ovaries (malignant tumors and cysts) and she was having a very hard time healing and lost a lot of blood during the surgery (having two transfusions on her stay there overnight). She kept leaking blood through her drainage holes when he had her home and we were all very concerned for her. I did a healing and asked that she be taken care of, and the following weekend the vets found that the blood she was leaking was old blood coming from a massive clot in her stomach (it filled her whole abdomen). She healed up perfectly and she doesn't even have a visible scar from it. I'd call that a success, too.

My sacred tree 'Atoinjya' was given rock-salt blended with Yarrow. She had suffered an infestation of wasp eggs and I wanted to help her recover and promote good health for her in the future!

It has worked 100%!:hehehehe:

I did a really successful job spell last year. A day or two after the spell I was hired for a wonderful job teaching amazing kids. As a matter of fact I am planning another job spell to try and get re-hired in this same position (it was just a year contract)

Most effective spell I've ever done was a carnal spell, and it worked well, all nine and a half inches of the spell.

While humorous, I'm dead serious.

I may be boring those who have read of my successes before, but for those who haven't, here ya go.

One icy winter night I was sitting at home worrying about my then-hubby driving home on those slick roads just after midnight. So when the furnace kicked on, I sat on top of the register and drew on that lovely fire energy, and visualizing his car as clearly as possible I sent the energy to his car 20 miles away - specifically to the tires to help them maintain traction on the roads.

A few minutes later he and his coworkers came out of the plant and the other guys were shocked to see that little red car sitting there in puddle of ice water while their cars were completely coated in ice. OMG, they said, Dude your car was on fire!

He just laughed, got in and drove away while they turned on their defrosters and got busy with their ice scrapers.

:T

A couple of years later I fell and damaged a finger on my right hand. It was not just broken, not merely dislocated, but both of those and the tendon was torn as well. After surgery was finished and the splint was put on it, I spent several minutes at least twice a day sending healing energies directly to that finger.

The metal pin was supposed to stay in for 6 weeks with the splint over the finger, and then the surgeon would remove the splint and the pin. But in about 3 weeks the pin was loose enough that it was turning inside my finger (grossed a bunch of people out big time :giggle:).

The week before I was supposed to go back the doctor the pin fell out completely. I put it back but it wouldn't stay. When I went back to the surgeon and he was trying to prepare me for the traumatic moment when he would remove the pin for me, I pulled it out and handed it to him. :hahugh:

I've done quite a bit of healing magic over the years, but that was the coolest.

Well...it's like this. Most of the spells I've cast on myself seem to have some effect. Most of the spells I cast on something outside myself...if anything happens, it doesn't seem to happen any more than if I'd not done a spell.

So, yeah, if I look hard, I can name a couple of times when things sorta, kinda happened after I did a spell, but it's pretty unclear that it had anything to do with my efforts.

but magick is not my focus and forte, so it could just be that I am totally inept.

The last Spell I did was to bring my brothers lost kitten, Socks, home as he'd gone missing. He hadn't been seen for two days and I was desperately worried so I did a Spell. The next morning I got a phone call from my brothers girlfriend saying Socks had been found that morning :) She'd heard him meowing down next door but ones alleyway and that is where he was found.
The next time I saw Socks he came pounding up to me, looked me straight it the eyes as if to say "thank you" and didn't leave my side all day  It was a really strange feeling too, like he knew it was me that had helped bring him home (a great feeling).

Once my boyfriend was coming to visit me and he had an eight hour bus ride. But there was a huge snowstorm and I was worried for his safety. So I cast a spell to get him to me safely. Unfortunately, I forgot to put in a time frame--he got to me safely, but more than a day late (which kinda ruins a weekend visit...)

And another one that isn't exactly a spell, but was successful anyway. I had this dance teacher who HATED me. I hated him too. But I would go to class and he would just put me down the whole time. So one week, I decided that I was going to be a warrior and I was going to psychically fight him the whole class. So I got dressed up in my dance clothes that felt most like armor, and I focused myself a lot on beating him up. I'm usually really sweet, and my friends said that they were sorta scared of me that day. But the best part was that during the class, the teacher fell flat on his ass and said that he hadn't fallen in years...

Not sure if it qualifies as magick or a spell or not, but I like to take what I call healing baths. I imagine all the negativity, disease, or unhappiness leaving my body and floating around in the water like little black worms. Then I drain the bath tub and imagine them all disappearing. It always works, I leave feeling happier and healthier.

I was only talking about this yesterday on here

I've had a number of spells "work". In fact, I don't think I've ever had one that didn't work. But - none of them have worked exactly the way I intended them to.

For instance - my son is only 17. I burned 3 candles - one for his health, another for his spirituality, and another asking that he meet and marry his soul mate. I meant that I wanted him to meet her some day. But - I didn't say that in my spell. The candle actually burned into the shape of a human figure wearing a robe (I posted pictures of it on this forum), and the next day my son said he had an announcement to make on New Years. A few days later he announced he was engaged. To a 15 yr old girl. As you can imagine, I was NOT a happy camper! That was about 8 months ago. They're still engaged.

Another spell - I burned two candles (or maybe it was three, I can't remember) for my young nephew in prison. In one I asked that he receive spiritual maturity and the other candle was asking for him to decide that he never wants to spend another day behind bars. The candles started jumping and popping and just going absolutely bonkers. The next day I found out that while I was burning the candles another prisoner decided to beat the crap out of him for no reason. He really didn't want to spend another day behind bars after that, which is unfortunate because that was a long time ago and he still has about a month left to go.

Another one - I did a spell for $10,000. It was a really elaborate spell I got from a hoodoo website. I had candles and oil and my picture and coins and powder and herbs and you name it. So I made up my "incantation" (if you would call it that), moved my other stuff to one side of my altar and did the spell every day for 14 days starting on the new moon and continuing until the full moon. It went "Ten thousand dollars come to me, one thousand go to charity, bring good not harm to family, money come now - let it be." The stuff I moved to the other side of the altar included a picture of my sister. She didn't know I was doing the spell, but she unexpectly got $1,000 just out of the blue. My aim must have been off. Then a very unexpected opportunity for a promotion just came up out of the blue, and I applied and they offered me less than a $9,000 a year raise so I turned them down. Several months went by and now it looks like they're offering it to me again and they're willing to negotiate for more. But it's been a major pain in the butt and it's been going on since February, so I definitely didn't just have thousands of dollars drop out of the sky and into my lap.

Last example - there are more, but I don't want to drone on forever. My husband had surgery years before he met me, and they accidentally cut the nerve going down his leg. His leg became partially paralyzed. He had to use a cane and brace for years, and eventually the nerve partially regenerated but he has a permanent limp. So I thought I'd "help out," and did a spell for the nerve to regenerate. Within 24 hours he began to experience severe pain. He said "it feels just like it did when the nerve was regenerating years ago." He's a really tough guy and never complains about pain (one time he even got a 3rd degree burn and the only thing he said was "Oh, sh1t" - he's tough). He was hurting really bad with this, though. He couldn't sleep at night. He had to start taking strong pain killers. It went on for many days. I felt just awful about it. I said some prayers to reverse it and eventually the pain went away.

After all of those mishaps I gave up casting spells for a while. Today I did the first spell I've done in months. It will be interesting to see what happens.

I wouldn't call them "mishaps", just magick taking the easiest route which it normally does. To stop this you just need to be more clear with you words and intentions

 It's not easy, that's for sure! A friend bought me a book called "Practical Spellcraft," and it had a "very easy" protection spell in it - so I did that one today. It said to put the tiniest mirrors you could find in all of the windows of the house, to reflect ill will back to anybody sending it to you. I wanted to make it pretty, so I got colorful prisms with mirrored backs and hung half of them underneath little wire stars with pentagrams in the middle and half of them inside wheel-shaped little wire things that remind me of the Wheel of Fortune in the tarot cards. I hung them in all the windows as "suncatchers" and as I hung them I said "Reflect ill will, repel negativity, welcome blessings, welcome sunshine, bless this house, harm none." Now - it seems like I've covered all the bases, but we'll see. If you have any ideas how my aim might be off on that one, please let me know! :T

I just finished posting this in the "Did you meet your SO through a spell?" thread, so sorry for the duplication...

* * * * * * * * * * * * * * *

I actually met my Tina at a 2004 Samhain ritual in Washington, DC, but she was with someone else at the time. It wasn't until many months later that I cast my spell.

I'd spent days working on just the right wording, and then spent 3 hours performing the actual ritual. Just as I snuffed out the final candle my cell phone rang. Yep, it was Tina saying that she'd finally broken up with the guy, and would I like to come over to dinner and be her first guest in her new house? I accepted her invitation.

In my spell I'd asked to meet someone I would like "as is" and specified to "cause no harm". I also specified that we should both feel mutual desire for each other. I even including imagry of a big house with a white picket fence and kids running in the yard, supposedly as a long term goal for us both.

When I went to her new house for dinner... You guessed it! It was a big old Victorian with a huge yard surrounded by a white picket fence and her three kids were playing on the swings.

We were Handfasted in February 2006 and we've been together ever since.

One question though...

Where can I get some of those wheel and pent prisms? They sound SOOOOO COOL!
