Quite old experience, divination?

It was years ago.. kind of eleven years by now. But it's in my mind since it happened and I want to share it with you to discuss what happened.

I was a child as you can realize, i'm now 23 and i was just 12 when it happened. My gramma had a very strong cold and was in hospital much time. I didn't mind of that as I didn't see the death till that year. Not in my family. So for me, my family was likely immortal.

What happened, from that illness my gramma died. She passed because she could not breath anymore. But a thing no one in my family knows is that, the last two weeks of her life, I was seeing a windy (almost ghostly) skull each time I had a shower. The day she passed away, I was nearly conscious of that just before anyone said to me. (I cried anyway...)

When all of that finished, it stopped. And from then i don't see that ghostly skull anymore. Only happened with my gramma, no others from my family who have passed away.

The only difference I have been thinking is .... She was really special to me. No other parent as She has been as special as she was.

Was it some kind of divination.... empathic connection or just my mind was defending itself of something what I was not prepeared to know?

I have ever though that my element is water. I've born in an island in the middle of the atlantic ocean. My favorite sports are all in touch with water (surf, windsurf, swimm, diving....) I feel comfortable surrounded by water and like i could be there forever. I like rain's sound, rivers and waterfalls do hipnotize and many other things about water.

I have ever though that the water gave me that vision. Don't know why didn't happen no more, but at first I was very scared of what i experienced....

Now is just another story in my life. But by telling here I feel that I'm freeing my soul of a big weight, as I never told this to anyone.

Well my experience with many, many people through the years is exactly what you are saying -- I got scared...

what happens is we are either not believed and told no that is not it

(example -- no honey the dog is NOT blue it is brown --- cause the parent does not realize the child sees the aura)

or we become afraid and say NO I do NOT want to see/know/do etc.

also add to that a young age, where people feel responsible -- i saw my uncle was to die, then he did, must be my fault

So people shut down their natural skills and talents ... YES you can get them back, it takes some time, trust and validation and work :)

You are so on the right path, embrace the elements (all of them) but focus on water to be the first path back

I've actually had that windy skeleton and skulls in general with some very strange synchronocities. I don't like to post about the negatively perceived ones as much as we post about the other coincidences, because they creep me out too much...

I hope I'm not threadjacking too badly, but I just wanted to share that with you. I can't seem to get away from the synch of things! To top it off, from the water crystal oracle deck, I just drew this card for this morning:

Well i don't know what leapinlizards means in spanish but i catch the phrase more or less. Emoto's work on water? sorry I never worked any of my elements. Really i don't know how to start.


I've actually had that windy skeleton and skulls in general with some very strange synchronocities. I don't like to post about the negatively perceived ones as much as we post about the other coincidences, because they creep me out too much...

I normally don't think in skull or skeletons as negative. But it was really scary to see it all the times I had a shower.

I'll catch your advise, thanks. But how to start? I don't know.

However, I really don't know if what i saw was a premonition or was only that i already known that my gramma was to die and I just won't recognize. You know what I mean?.

I do know what you mean, often that is what divination truly is -- honestly seeing what is there already, and hearing it seeing it, feeling it and not pushing it away.

Some ways to start working with water are to be aware and present when you shower, swim, are at the waters edge etc.

See how it calms you, opens you to see something differently.

For example if I need to make a good decision, I will go take a shower with the intent of what is it that I need to know? Then just put it away and hop in the shower and know that the water will wash all the negatives away and what I need to know will present itself.

Another easy thing, is to sit quietly near water with a pile of something near you; like small stones, leaves, sticks... Sit there and each negative that comes to you take it, and one of the items you have and toss it in the water, release it -- it is gone.

Spend more time with water, simply in your day to day activities, notice where water is and what it does...

nope not a hi-jack at all :)

and you get to translate leapinlizards (so on your own there LOL)

i think routhven said it very well that it is not a "negative" remember often those signs are assigned positives and negatives -- and are simply signs :)

and yep i am into the water work too :)

Yes! very helpfull, thanks.

It's like i've been doing it already, but no consciously. I often went to the harbor to think, where the water is near to me. The waves allways told me what I needed to know. I even went with my friends so we could talk freely about important things.

Now I know and will do it conscously from now on ^^

I came hoping to have an answer and you have made that hope come truth!! 8O
