Spodumene is the mineral name given to the species. It comes in 4 color variations... clear, yellow/green, purple/lilac. The Clear variety is referred to as Spodumene. They yellow kind often fades into green and when it boarders on green or is emerald green it is referred to as Hiddenite. The Purple/Lilac stuff is referred to as Kunzite. Calling it green kunzite is wrong and I would seriously question any seller's reputability if they name it as such as obviously they havent even taken the time to research something they are selling. The 4 variations all have commonalities but also all differ in sugnificant ways.
