View Full Version : I think my cat ran away

I'm not sure yet, but it's not like her to stay out ALL day. Neither my dad or myself have seen her since he let her out this morning. :(

This is the same way it went when her brother ran away 4 years ago.

I really don't want to have lost her; she was the best pet I had. But I can't help thinking that she might have done it because I got the kitten. :dis: *sigh*

I just hope she finds her way home soon.

I'm sure she'll come back when she gets bored.. does she have a collar and a tag just in case?

Unfortunately not. That's the problem- she manages to get out of them no matter what kind we tried.

Flaire, I know what your going through.
A coupla months ago, my little girl Moon disappeared for 5 days; I was frantic. She is a housecat, but doesn't necessarily agree with that. I ran an ad, put up flyers, had every kid on the block looking for her. I was convinced she wasn't coming back; and then----- there she was! Looking very pleased with herself, of course.
So don't lose hope, your girl may just be out for an extended stroll, just like someone else.....
Good wishes coming your way from me and my Moon.....

I'm sorry; that's horrible! I know how that is...I had a dog that I loved dearly for 5 years, she was ultra protective of me, whenever someone yelled at me she would barrel between me and them and growl at em. And then she just disappeared...it was horrible.

I hope you find your cat...losing a pet is so hard :(

Apparently, the gremlin is still there. I have no idea why that posted twice.
Anyone have any gremlin repellant?

And Moon's eyes change back and forth from yellow to bright green. She's a rescued street kitty, and a wonderful addition to our family.

Flaire, I am so sad to hear that. I really hope that she returns to you soon. Thankfully cats are pretty adaptable, so she will probably be safe. I hope someone finds her or she comes back hom esoon. Keep calling the shelters too!

Oh Flaire, I just found your post this morning.
Keep thinking positively, and keep a smile on that pretty face of yours!
We'll all help the best way we can.
Cats are so keen. I'm sure your baby will be home soon. When she gets there give her some extra lovin' from all us!
I love ya and will keep ya'll in my prayers.

Oh, Flaire - I can imagine how worried you must be!

But as others have said, he is likely just sulking a bit and will return when he realizes what he's missing, new kitty or no!

My prayers to you for his safe return.

I'm kinda afraid to go out now, just in case she does come back and no one's home to let her in. :dis:

*BIG sigh of relief* Guess who strutted up to the door at 11 this morning all covered in dust? :) I'm sooooo glad to have her back - we figured she got locked in someone's garage overnight (the curious fool)

:smooch: Thanks everyone for your thoughts.
