Animal totems...

Lately I have been really into Pandas for some reason. It just kind of came out of nowhere. One day I woke up and decided that I REALLY wanted a Myspace layout with pandas on it.

Then on TV I saw a special on Pandas in zoos. Then I was at the hospital with my husband for an appointment and in the waiting room, I picked up a National Geographic magazine with a huge section talking about...you guessed it...Pandas. I even made a Panda design for my online store...

Could this mean that perhaps an animal spirit guide is trying to contact me?...a Panda? Last night after doing a full moon ritual with our group, we all had a discussion on animal totems and did a meditation to come into contact with them. I met a couple of my totems, but I can't shake the feeling that I may have missed one that night. Could this be possible?

I have found some pages that give info on the panda. Other than that I don't really know a lot about the subject but will start studying my own animal totems soon.

I would say that the chances are slim until you've done more investigation. I went through a panda phase once, but I sure as heck could not say that pandas have anything to do with my life, spiritually. Do some more meditation, wait a while. If it doesn't go away and pandas keep coming up with spiritual meaning for you, then perhaps you might start to consider whether or not pandas play a spiritual role in your life. The fact that you suddenly became interested in them, and then saw a TV show on them, most likely does not indicate anything (in my opinion) other than the fact that pandas are popular animals, are interesting to learn about, and are pretty darn cute. Good luck with your meditation and your search.

I think it's very possible. I think more exploration about the topic is definitely needed though, just so you can be sure.
