Since my cat, Frou-frou was a kitten, he was always
the last to follow his mother outside, and not very
far, lest a strange person came by, and he would run
back into the apartment and hide. He is almost 3 years
old and he still does this, except for Ariel.
I have tried talking to him, playing with him, while a strange person was in the house, but have been
unsuccessful in many months.
Is there some way to get him over his fear?
His mother is a get-in-your-face cat, but his father was
a scaredy-cat(no pun intended) so that must be where
it comes from.
P.S. I got a new friend on Tuesday...her name is Lexy,
and she is Persian/Calico. My supervisor gave her to me,
and she is a sweetheart...and she loves to talk.
Both cats get along, but Lexy is still getting adjusted
to a new home, etc.
Of course she hasn't met Ariel's cat yet,but we will wait
for 6-8 weeks for that introduction.
Violence is the last refuge of the incompetent.
