Pia

Hi everyone, I'm new here so I guess I should introduce myself.
I'm from Norway, I'm female and somewhat of a geek, I'm studying physics and IT at university. Spiritually I'm definitely pagan. I grew up learning the stories of the Old Norse Gods, and it kind of stuck. My faith is probably closest to what you would call Asatru.
I'll always be a student of something. Though I rarely practice magic, I love studying it. The last few years I've especially been interested in old Norwegian magic traditions, but that's not exactly an easy subject to find reliable information about.
I'm calling myself Pia here. But actually, Pia is my cockatiel, I'm just borrowing her name right now. I love animals, and I've almost always had at least one pet. Right now my boyfriend and I are living with Pia (the cockatiel), an unknown number of tropical fish, and we're planning on getting Pia a playmate soon. I'd love to have a cat again, but with family and friends with allergies, birds and fish are a bit more practical.
Well, I think that was more than enough as an introduction. I'm looking forward to getting to know some of you. :ballonsmi
