MM everyone,
I was just invited to join, I look forward to exchanging info and making new friends. I am a 54 year young Wiccan grandmother of 3 girls (by my 2 daughters). My soul-mate husband is also Wiccan. Originally I was living in South Florida, moved to Tennessee 12 years ago after leaving an ex-husband in Florida. I was fortunate to find a beautiful piece of woods in central Tennessee, overlooking the Cumberland river. There is quite a pagan population in these parts, we belong to a small coven that meets near were we live. After being solitary for many many years it is wonderful to have others to celebrate with. My hubby is a social worker, right now I am happily unemployed. Gardening, herbal medicine, all kinds of arts and crafts are my interests. I can't say how long I have been pagan, it is something I realized gradually over many years. Magic and witchy things were always my interests, even as young as 8 years old. In the late 70s I discovered Scott Cunninghams books and found I could really relate to them. About 6 years ago I went online, contacted others and found many pagan friends including my new husband.
I look forward to getting to know all of you.

Welcome and thank you for that very inspirational story! The sole reason my wife and I decided to open up this kind of forum was to build a community of like-minded individuals...to give everyone a place to meet and talk..and I have always felt that these types of forums are very warm and a great way to make new friends. Who knows. Maybe some Pagans will meet their soulmates right here in this Community! i would be overjoyed!
I welcome you and your husband to our (your) Communty! I hope to see you here often.

Inspirational indeed!
I am honored to be a part of this community...
...more has been accomplished here in a week than I could ever hope to accomplish with my website in a year.
Welcome to the family Lynnaea, we are happy to have you as a part of it.
May You Live True

MM all, we too received an invitation today to join this lovely place. Must have been quite a mailing.
My wife, Boadecia, and I are Solitaries in the high Nevada Desert. Our best friend, Mauve, introduced us and is the third Musketeer in our Solitary non-coven. We are grandparents with two grandbrats each from previous marriages. This doesn't mean that we will ever grow up or act old, no way. The path of Wicca is eternal youth and love, right?
We're always looking for new friends on the path and hope to reach some who live or travel out our way.
Bright Blessings to all!

Welcome!!! I am so glad you joined us. Referring to the mailing...I did it one at a time. I have been looking all over the net for people who I think might benefit from a place like this...and when I find them...I invite them. I bet that a lot of these members come from me searching them out.
Anyway, I dont want anyone to think I just mass-spammed anyone. :)
In perfect love.

I got the invite too :P This seems as good a thread as any to introduce myself. I'm a semi-solitary Dianic from Sydney, Australia, so I probably won't be on here at the same time as most of you. I'm getting back into message boards after a year or so, and am looking forward to some interesting conversation :)

I just thought it interesting that both mol and eaglewolf used the word inspirational... I just recently read that the word means literally breath from the spirits. Cool huh?
And welcome to all the new faces!!
