Hello all.
I have been away from this forum for many months. It probably seems like more than it actually was, but I am so happy to be back.
My sister, who is a Jehovah's Witness, asked me to please allow her to try and persuade me to come back to the religion of my youth. She asked me to please stay away from any "occult" sites or books and study with her for a while. I felt that she was sincere in her request and obliged her.
It has been sheer torture to stay away from what my heart is called to and I am so glad to be back. I am sad that my sister is feeling like she failed, but I cannot be false to my beliefs. I gave her the chance she asked for and gave it my all.
I now KNOW that my beliefs are deep and abiding and shall never feel the need to accomodate her again, so I would thank her, but I doubt she would appreciate it.
So very glad to be back. What a feeling of relief and homecoming.
