Off-hand, I'd say that the most passive is Pisces and the most aggressive is Aries, from my experience.

well scorpio women are usually agressive with me.:hehehehe: actually scorpios are agressive but apear to be passive. I would say sags are more agressive than aries.the Aries and leo people i dealt with usually shout and run away. Taurus and Virgos I found to be passive

Speaking as a Gemini, I'd have to say that we definitely have our aggressive moments. But I don't think we are the most aggressive. I would think Aries or Sagittarius... Now if you were to say that Geminis are the craziest, I would have to agree with you. lol

No one has mentioned Capricorns yet. We have our own sort of aggression, it seems much different from other zodiacs. Keep in mind that all signs are quite different when it comes to 'zodiac aggression'. There are also qualities that could be called passive-aggressive, and all are unique in this respect.

Since you mentioned Capricorns specifically, I'll elaborate further on my earlier post.

My mother has her Sun in Capricorn and I suspect her Moon in Scorpio like I do. She's aggressive in pushing me to be responsible, work, work, work (cause to her that's all there is with life), and to be disciplined.

I can't do a full chart for her due to several birth certificates, but with other people she is aggressive with her more philosophical ideas rather than mundane ones. In this way, her Scorpio Moon is kicking in toward me.

I have my Sun in Libra, and while I have a temper, I tend to be more manipulative when I get aggressive (a trait of Libra), unless pushed too far and then I can become a volcano (which relates to my Scorpio Moon, among other things).

Like anything in astrology, it's a multi-faceted topic.

I think all signs have their own level of passiveness and agressiveness, depending on what they're supposed to feel passive or agressive about and whether it's a subject they feel strongly about or not. It's also to do with the combination of signs in a chart, though. I have Moon in Aries and Sun in Aquarius, and the only things that truly set me off in my Aries-temper are the humanitarian issues Aquarius concerns itself with.

I echo this, I think each sign has different areas they are aggressive or passive in, and depending on the culture one lives in and the societal norms, certain ones will appear more generally aggressive or passive depending on how society is currently reacting to a certain area of life.

And lets not forget passive aggression, which some signs are expert at. A siege is can be a very effective means for getting one's own way. So can whining until everyone gives in just to shut one up! Those make outwardly appear passive, but are agressive upon closer examination.

In our society the"go getter" is usually seen as aggressive, but I posit the one's who have figured out how to stay put and get others to bring things to them...are displaying a quiet aggression of their own.

I was engaged to one cancer and married to another cancer for 5 years and I can say that they can be aggressive or passive depending on the person's personality. Cancer number 1 was passive as a baby mouse while the other was a real abusive jerk.

I am now married to a Libra and they can be nuts. My hubby is mostly passive until he gets really pissed, then watch out. He has some scorpio to him as well so it makes for an interesting aggression. My son is a scorpio and he has they same tendencies as my hubby. My daughter is an aries and she is just flat out stubborn. I am a capricorn and I have a temper from hell. So I guess the sign only plays a small part in the whole factor...it really just depends on the person in MHO.

Sheep is a Scorpio/Saigittarius hybrid, but while I can frequently harbour feelings of deep anger, I'm not aggressive, I try to attack in more subtle ways, such as being snide and sarcastic. i can thoroughly recommend it.

Sagittarius can be an unusual one to spell, but I especially had to learn it since it's my own sign. :lol: The way I learnt it was to break it up into three parts "Sagi" "T" "Tarius". Try using that method and see if it works for you. :)

To elaborate on my earlier comment, I always find that Aries people around me tend to get very angry very quickly. And they tend to have infamous rages. Such as Russell Crowe, Elton John, and hey, look at Alec Baldwin's tirade at his daughter. My mother is an Aries too who tends to YELL a lot and throw things when she's angry. 8O (it's usually as a result of her endless impatience)

Leo and Sagittarius can be quite hot and fiery, but not nearly as much as Aries and I've found they're slower to get ANGRY, though they can still get irritable and occasionally snappy rather quick once you push a certain button on them. (personal experience for the latter, even though I try to keep a calm head most of the time. :giggle: Being pushed around, messing something up or being snapped at usually does it.)

On the opposite end, Pisces people have been the only ones I've known that actively attempt to avoid a fight, even to the point of leaving the vicinity, or going offline, and few of them seem to be able to stand starting a conflict. The Cancers I've met are usually sensitive, true, but they still can fight and snap back well with their claws. All of the other signs outside of the Fire ones and Pisces seem fairly balanced in their level of aggression and passiveness, to me anyway.

Yes, it's a balancing act. So if you get it right, it balances in the middle. What happens to a set of scales when you put too much weight on one end?

It doesn't just go down a little way, it goes down all the way. The amount it's overweighted only effects the speed.

Being Aries myself I know the above to be true, something I'm trying to compensate for in myself. An excercise in self control. I can imagine your mother tends to shout and throw things when she loses her temper, I once put a hole in a wall over a foot wide and nearly a foot high.

For me it's usually to do with patience. Having to repeat myself umpteen times or being asked the same thing/told the same thing umpteen times irritates me to no end. The other bad move I've noticed people tend to make with me is trying to make light of things when I'm in a bad mood. For example, trying to joke about something that has annoyed me (it was someone doing that which resulted in the hole).

Not sure if it's the same types of things with other Aries.

Mixing the ram and the bull. I'm April 16th, so towards the end of the middle of the zodiac. I'm incredibly stubborn, can be impatient and I know have a bad temper. I've been told I'm a very typical Aries.

;) I don't really ascribe to astrology but I will tell you this... I was born 25th April and I'm too stubborn for my own good hahaha It helps in a lot of situations that most people would just quit on... but I tend to reap the benefits because I'm too stubborn to quit. However, when I was having money issues and pretty much starving earlier this year... that stubbornness was not a good thing.

I don't have much of a temper, though, unless seriously provoked.

Ironically, those things are exactly what annoy me, and I'm a Sagittarius. It's why I tend to avoid difficult video games now and practice calming myself more. Previously, being a Sagi my verbal tirade got more creative and colourful as time went on. I remember after failing to complete a stage for the umpteenth time in Perfect Dark thanks to my retarded computer allies who kept running in the way of my shots, I loudly informed them "Congratulations!! You've just been promoted from incompetents to imbiciles!! Well done!!" Good times there. 8O And joking about something that annoyed me... ooh, death knell. :flamer: The wise avoid that though. :)

Well, to be more precise, I'm born on the Sagittarius/Capricorn cusp, which gives me black moods at times when triggered. Minorly annoying things aside, I mostly keep myself calm, but my anger does charge up a lot over time. Once my 'anger meter' is full, watch out! I'll lock-on and unleash an entire arsenal of painful and red-hot verbal arrows upon the recipient. :uzi: I don't take my anger out on innocents at all though, which ends up for some interesting changes in conversation when angry and talking to those not angering me. :lol:

with that definition, my instincts immediately vote for scorpio as most aggressive and pisces most passive.
