( I wasn't completely sure where this post should go but some people descrive palm reading as a way of predicting your future, so I figures this would be the best place to post. )
I know there must be someone on here who's studied Palm reading.
Palm reading's fascinated me for a while but I never really looked into it and I'm already here, so why not ask? If anyone has any information on it, PLEASE post it.
Whether it be where it orinated from, how to read a palm, anything.
Thanks a bunch. :weirdsmil

I've looked into it a little... its on my list of areas I want to study more. Uncle Bucky's Big Blue Book (Buckland's Witchcraft book) has a section on it. Silver Ravenwolf's Solitary Witch has a good section on it as well. Definately a good place to start. About.com (http://healing.about.com/od/palmlines/What_Does_This_Line_Mean.htm) has a page for Palmistry if you're looking for something online.

If your interested I will be doing palmistry in the COT divination class soon. And even though I have been studying palmistry for three or so years I still considering myself a student of this divination form so I will help you where I can if you want. :)

First thing though I recommend is scan a picture of your hand and post it then we can take it from there :D

Also one of the first websites I first started learning from.. (http://www.ofesite.com/spirit/palm/lines.htm)

This site seems to be good for the basics.

You know I disagree with a statement on that site you posted above...

Palm reading is not a form of fortune telling. It won’t tell you what will happen in your life, rather, it will re-tell you what has already happened.
Ah I do not agree with that at all sure it can tell you has happened but it also does tell you what is to come ... and I base that on personal experience... And I will be back tomorrow with more thoughts on that site :)

Onf of the first websites I came in a search was this one (http://www.ofesite.com/spirit/palm/lines.htm).

There are some cracking books still in print on the matter :)

To start off research the major lines and mounds, shapes of hands, what textures of skin mean what and try and put that all together :)

I recomend getting some ink and making a few hand prints of yourself and friends and having a look at the parterns printed rather than reading straight from the hand.

I love palmistry but I never got as far as I wanted too - to me its a very technical/learned skill rather than an intuitive one like the runes and the tarot. I never made the time to take it to as deep a level as I wanted to go. Best of luck with your quest hun :D
