I am pregnant with baby number two. This pregnancy physically has been AMAZING!! Some days I feel soo great I forget I am pregnant.
Emotionally these last two weeks have been trying. When I get down, I loose my appetite. I have been trying hard to eat something. I can't just not eat! Being pregnant and all... :uhhuhuh:
I spent 1 week being stressed wondering what my baby's gender was. For 6 months they tried four times to determin and each time I went home with no answers. Was not able to buy a single thing for my little one because when I attempted to shop for gender neutral stuff, I was lost! :weirdsmil
I spent the entire week putting my self through hell and back physically it was getting out of control. My face broke out in so much chin acne I thought I was going to loose my skin!! :smileroll When I finally found out I was having a GIRL I was over joyed!!!... but then the un think able happened to me..
A family member used the same name as what we had picked out and we told them several months before that it was our childs name.. and talk about identity crisis.. I was floored... how is my child unique now???... It was rather disturbing and although hubby tried to understand my insanity.. he just thought there would be nothing wrong having two kids 4 months apart with using the same names. Culture shock for me, it's against my heritage and now I had to deal with that.
I was so scared to loose my baby over this amount of stress.. this is supposed to be the BEST time of my life and the last two weeks I have been trying to ignore the world hoping everything is going to get better.. knowing once I acknowledge it once again, it will come back and nip me on the butt.
I need to try real hard to get it together this week.. maybe this pretty mama needs to have some R & R and go some where.. to the spa, something... my baby deserves the best, and when you can't control life.. I guess all you can do is hang on for the ride and maybe cry along the way?...
Anyone got any tissue?

I've been having a great weekend. Baby was fed a four cheese burger with the works!! It was great :giggle:. And saw Iron Man which is a killer movie!!
We always had a daughters name picked out but when we knew for sure it was a girl, we started searching hard for a middle name with no luck.
Any ideas?? We're stumped. :T

Today is a rainy day. Days like this can be calm and soothing, and other times drab and boring. Being stuck at home for a few hours is enough to give anyone cabin fever. Being 6 1/2 months pregnant I want to be able to get out and walk and be active. I have a lovely gardening awaiting on some bushes. :smileroll Haven't been able to start that task yet.
We've done many tasks so far around the property. Some people think I am nuts. I have plans to get up on a ladder and clean out my gutters. :T I am a handy woman lol. A very active one for pregnancy at that. But it needs to get done and that is the bottom line. No one else is gona do it and it won't get done if I sit from afar and watch it lol!
I want to get so much done before the baby arrives. I have to still prep the baby's room which is a task in its self since it wasn't a room to start with, but an entire library/office. Now where shall my computer go? :whatgives
It's super exciting to prepare for a baby!! I don't go nuts and go all out but my children have nice things and always will.
I buy several used items. Went on a yard sale hunt this morning with little success because of the weather but I plan on going to many more yard sales to find a bargin! :giggle: Mrs. Frugal McDugal lol :giggle:

I have been having an interesting time putting together a baby shower list. Who knew it would be such a daunting task!! :giggle:
My friend graciously offered to make me one after my family told me they didn't know if they wanted to do one or not so I know I won't be inviting them to the shower but I do have a ton of friends and I can't invite them all.. the house is much to small for 30 people.
I need to cut the list in at least half, and unsure who to cut out without hurting anyones feelings. Oye. :weirdsmil

I have been sorta emotional with this pregnancy sometimes I have to step back and go whoa.. that is not rational. I will take a bath to think about things but then I find my self getting upset in the tub thinking about things and it gets to me :T Oh dear.
I have never felt so many different feelings in such a short time span and to me its hit me so hard that I notice the change and I am clear headed enough to say "This is not me" I am not an emotional person.
Part of the emotions come with the things that I can not change. Not that control is the issue.. just that sometimes things in life don't go as planned and you cant prevent the en evadable right? and the fact that I am pregnant has really got those en evadable things being a thorn in my side.
I wish I could let things go and be free as a bird but I'm like a fly catcher!! CHOMP. :bigredgri

I woke up in a great mood today. I feel happy and the weather is nice and I have some free time to my self for the day...
What do to? I have to many tasks left undone but not sure where to start. :cutie:
I made my self some healthy "fried rice" today over a bed of broccoli. Yum! My baby loved it he he.:hehehehe:

Happy mothers day ladies!!
Today was a really nice day. I woke up this morning at 7:54 and ironed my hair. :smileroll My DH came in to wish me a Happy mothers day which was super sweet! :cutie: And gave me a big fat kiss. (I had forgotten today was mothers day) :giggle:
We spent the entire day with the in laws which was quite fun! I got a home made boob card .. don't ask :T and my fav perfume that I have been dying to own!! I would always use the samples at the store and I am sure the sample bottle got pretty low just because of me alone! 8O Now I have my own!!! YIPPIE YAY! :hehehehe:
I have to get back on track with my eating. I take all my vitamins including a folic acid tablet daily, however my food intake the last few days hasn't even been fit for a dog! I have been pigging out on Doritios and chip dips, pancakes with lots of syrup and Mc donalds.. OYE!
Not healthy........... Not healthy at all.

I have gotten back on track with my nutrition. I am now on iron supplements from the doctor. My blood work came back low on iron. The first time in 2 years I have had iron problems.. but I am no longer a raw foodist so that could have something to do with it.
Today I am going purse shopping.. for a diaper bag! A wuza wut? :wtf:
I haven't found a diaper bag I really love, but I did see a purse I was like all *drooly* about lol.. so what is the difference? It won't have bottle holders, which are convenient, but it is something I shall sacrifice!
They open shop at 11 am so I will be the first one down there. Ooo baby :T

Another great reason to breastfeed - you wont NEED bottle holders :hehehehe:

Indeed. :giggle: I am breast feeding but I am also pumping milk and keeping a supply so if I have to go somewhere and I cannot bring baby my DH can still feed her. Baby's gotta eat. He he he. :mmm: With my LO I tried to BF and I didn't have enough milk after he started eating more than 5 ounces. It was hard for me to come to grips with, so this time I am hoping not to be broken. :T

Wow, time sure went by quickly, didn't it? My fingers are crossed for you that baby doesn't want to hold on too much longer. :)

I was in the same boat with the diaper bag thing. I hated all the ones I looked at or they were so much money! I solved the problem by going to walmart and getting a big bookbag. In boy colors! Lemme tell yas, book bags are so much better than your average diaperbag! Just get a large one with lots of pockets :D
