Dipping candles wasn't as hard as I always thought it would be. I love the thought of being able to make my own candles for magical uses.

Thanks so much for this, Wild. I've always wanted to learn and have been to lazy to start looking around. Looks like Semele and I might be making some for the handfasting, so we can probably get some ideas.

I just starting making my own candles a couple of weekends ago - it's so addicting! First I just bought the usual Yaley stuff at the craft store and made my own god/dess pillars http://saragossa.net/pictures/candles/Picture03.JPG , and now I've bought a special wax called CleanWax that's supposed to be very clean burning - no soot.

That Genwax site is a good one, Wildchild. I've been getting my supplies at BitterCreek - http://www.candlesupply.com/ - that's a good site too
