Security Tokens?

I also got one earlier when I apparently got a new repuation point. When I clicked on it, I got the same error message, but I don't know the url for it. Also, I have no idea where to view my reputation points, if we even can.

Mine seems to be fixed now. I was getting that message when I was trying to use the Quick Search (drop down box thingie) but it works now :)

I am about to upgrade the forum software to the release version. This might fix a few of the problems, but definitely not all. I will have to go through and fix these issues manually.

I can't log in on my laptop. When I do it sends me to mysticwicks.com/profilesomethingorother and then bounces to the security token page.

I've got the same problem that Broken Winds has. I can't view my User CP when I click on the button or when I log in. That and the profile page too.

Yeah, I just get that with the Quick Search. Haven't seen it elsewhere anymore.

THis is what happens every time I click onto the MysticWicks bookmark on my toolbar. IT loads the page, see it very briefly, then the screen fills with a buff cloured blank page except for this message at the top of the page. If I don't click onto something, anything, it will continue until I do get something else to load. The address bar still has MysticWicks as the page I'm on, no error or DNS mesage is there at all.

What's going on?

I'm having this problem nearly every time I try to open up a page no matter what it is. I normally have to press Ctrl and backspace to open it in a new tab (in Firefox) a time or two (or three or four) to get it so it won't take me to the page about security tokens. It is a bit annoying, especially if I am resuming a session from the day before and all MysticWicks pages have to be reloaded several times in new tabs to stay on the proper page and not redirect me and tell me a security token is missing or mismatched.

In fact it redirected me to that page when I tried to go to the Announce! thread to check out this topic.

Try clicking on your user name to go to your profile page, then clicking on customize profile to get to your user cp. That's what I've been doing. :hehehehe:

Also when I went to respond to this post the "Reply" button was missing, I had to use "quote"

Everytime I try to get onto the site I get the token message and have to click the link in faves four or five times until it lets me onto the site. Just saying I am getting by it I just hope it don't cause issues or anything.

I get the security token page nearly everywhere on MW now. 90% of the time, it "security tokens" me on the front page, too quick to click on anything else. Guaranteed that if I've visited a page in the past, it won't allow me to access it now. When I tried to submit a bug ticket -- several times! -- I was rewarded every time with multiple glitches and a "fatal error" page.

Frankly, unless it gets fixed for all of us, its not really worth my time and frustration to attempt to access the forums. :( I certainly don't blame the mods for the glitches, or not being able to fix them for some people, but its still unfortunate.

I found a fix for this and I am working on the main style right now.
