The Empathy Symbol stands for 2 sides reaching out, and reaching into each other to really understand what the other is feeling and experiencing.

I was extatic when i found this pic on the website, its an exelent way to spot fellow empaths at a glance.

Where did you find that? I... um, I'm not sure how I feel about that symbology. Maybe because I've had to deal with some so-called Empaths who have an agenda and put their bad feelings onto others instead of taking responsibility for them so I'm just really leery at the moment of yelling :woot: when I meet another Empath the way I used to.

Also how were you suggesting it be used as a recognition between Empaths? It's too large for me to include it in my siggie and still have the other things there that I want. And I don't know nuthin' about resizing no images. :weirdsmil

I don't like the red and the contrasting colours... also, I would make the centre line into a wave instead of a straight line, because right now it screams to me "danger, do not cross this line!". :lol: I wonder who came up with it, though.

I have to agree with you Lunacie im very wary of other empaths to there are so many that dont use there ablitys for good,

but maybe with some improvments it could be a good thing to have somthing thats just for us... instead of sharing all the time

I think the designer has got it all wrong.

The colours should be softer, they are too garish, too strident at the moment. Feeling empathy towards someone else always comes to my mind as something a little softer, warmer, not necessarily an experience you want to yell out loud about!

The center line, as Solya mentioned, looks more like division than inclusion.

Actually, I just don't think it works!

See i have to dissagree with you there lol, the strong colours stand out, there not what youd expect heance it makes it special,

And "most" empaths i know are very diffrent, and special, so it fits wel for me, and the simplisity of the line work allows diffrent ppl to see diffrent things in it, mutch the same way an empath can.

but thats just me :), each to there own i guess
