Impossible smells exhibition opens

The world's first exhibition of 'extinct and impossible' smells is under way, from the metallic fallout of the first atomic bomb to the aroma of cloves and oranges from first aid kit of a medieval plague doctor.

Interesting... but how do they keep the smells fresh? Pretty much anything will stop smelling if given enough time.

And this reminds me of the concept of "smell-o-vision" where movies are supposed to create smells or something for the audience... to suit the scenes on the screen.

So it includes the smells of;-
a meteor impact,
a space station,
extinct plants,
the aftermath of the Hiroshima bomb,
the sun,
and Cleopatra's hair...

Wierd and crazy... I'd love to go to it! :)
