Okay, can anyone think of a way to forget something? I did something VERY stupid, I didn't want to but did......and I just want everyone to leave me alone about it......Any way I can do this?
Well anyways, I havent been here forever! I've looked around and stuff but haven't posted, how is everyone?

The way I forget things is just to stay as busy as possible for as long as I can. Eventually, it at least doesn't suck to remember anymore :)

Don't try to forget things - that just means they get stuck inside you and never dealt with.
Ask people not to talk to you about it, sure, but try to accept it happened and forgive yourself.

The way I look at things is if you forget your mistakes you will not learn anything from them, then you are destined to repeat them. Learn from your mistakes, find a way to deal with them so you don't get caught up in a cycle of mistakes. Am I making any sense? Sorry sometimes I ramble.

Myst is right. Forgetting is how we repeat stupid things, learn the lesson, tell people you don't want to discuss it, but don't forget what you learned.

I agree with everyone else, what's past is past and mistakes that were not learned from were wasted...but those that were, were not even mistakes. Thomas Edison failed thousands of times before he got the lightbulb right...
And, moo mommy, your icon is ADORABLE! *giggles* hehe :)

Good or bad, your past makes you who you are.... don't forget it, learn from it. You're human sweetheart!

If it is really bugging you, this is a visualization that helps me when I do the same. For those who haven't noticed here, I have a tendency to put my foot in my mouth. 8O I meditate and relax. Then I picture me putting my mistake in a box, and wrapping it up. I then either throw it up onto a cloud and watch it float away, or I drop it down a deep well. Either way, I know that I can get the mistake back when I am ready to learn from it, or repair the damage I did with it. It is just a way for me to get some distance from it. Maybe this will help you too.

Accept that you have done it and it cannot be reversed... once you accept it and it cannot be changed, you will be able to move on with it :) trust me, I've messed up plenty.
Take it as a learning experience and move on. :)

For some reason I feel that you are looking to "purge your soul"
I have to ask at this point Are there some actions you should own up to?
I'm sick of thinking and worrying what might come of it,
do you feel that you have a debt to pay to clear this?
pranks are pranks but they cross the line if someone is hurt, even accidently. This includes hurting yourself with worry. Is there someone you SHOULD tell? I do not mean to sound like I have the feeling you have done anything bad, I am really just asking what popped into mind when reading your post. And I want to know if I can help you. Feel free to pm me if you need to talk.
