I created this meditation about a year ago for a friend. I think it works best as a guided meditation, so if you have no one to give it, I would suggest recording yourself saying it and play it back to meditate. (This isn't a script, just an overview. Use your own words.)

Use whatever technique you use to get into a relaxed state.

Picture yourself in the natural setting that feels most at home to you.

This place is the embodiment of your inner self. You are utterly safe here. You can do or be or think whatever you like, because here you are your true self.

When you are in the real world, you must shield your true self from the rest of the world. Think of this shield as a mask. We all wear masks, every day. These masks start as our way to protect ourselves from the world, and protect ourselves from our true selves. Perhaps we wear one mask at work, and another at home, and yet another with our friends. But, inevitably, they come to define us. We depend on them, and they take us over. The people we meet see our masks, not our true selves. Most people would run the other way were they to meet us as we truly are.

Allow your mask to take physical form. Feel it against the skin of your face. Does it yield, or is it hard? Is it warm or cold? Wooden? Stone? Bring your hands to your face, and feel your mask. Does it mimic your face, or distort it? Is it thick, or thin? Think about what the shape of the mask says about your relationship to your inner self and the world around you.

Remembering that you are completely safe here, remove the mask and place it on the ground to your left. Experience life with no mask. Allow your essence, your divinity to shine out and into the world. Stay like this for as long as you like.

When you are ready, look to your right. You will see a veil. Pick it up and feel it in your hands. It is the lightest material you have ever held. But if you try to tear it, rip it, or cut it, you will find that you cannot. It is flexible, but unbreakable. This will be your new mask. It provides the barrier from the world that you need, but allows your light to shine through. It is strong but supple, and will last a lifetime. Take the veil and put it on. Feel it on your skin. Get used to its lightness and its softness. Take as much time as you like to get used to the newness of the veil.

When you are ready, it is time to leave this place. Remember that you will take the veil with you, and it will change your perceptions of the world around you. This place will always be ready for your return, as it is a part of you every day. If you ever feel that your veil has darkened, or hardened, or torn, come back to this place, and it shall be refreshed. It is time to leave your old mask behind, and come back to the world renewed.

Aside from the mask bit, it seems similar to a meditation I taught in the energy basics.

I like that meditation, Son of Deborah! That would be a good meditation to use around Mabon or Samhain.
