Update on Laiste

Hey all. I know Mysticrain's been a little busy (she's got 4 kids). I just wanted to let all of ya'll know about our buddy Laiste.

For those of you that don't know, Laiste, a long time MW member, was put in the hospital last Friday in ICU. She has blood clots in her lungs.

Well, I got to talk to her today! She sounded tired and a little trouble still breathing. Yesterday (Monday) she had a procedure done. The dr's inserted a filter so that no more clots will go to her lungs. The next thing is to find out what is causing all this. She still needs to be in the hospital for another week or so. :(

I passed along messages to her from those of you who have left them. She was happy to hear that so many cared. Chryssi and I are able to go visit her as well. She's still under special care, but now can have visitors and we can bring her all sorts of goodies. I'm making up a little care package for her now.

Anyone interested in sending a card or note, please PM me and I will give you the hospital address.

Keep those candles lit for our girl for a speedy recovery!

It was so nice that you called yesterday Starlite. I breathed a big sigh of relief after I got off the phone. Please don't forget to pm me the addy. If there is any way I can get up there, I will.

I just got a phone call from Laiste.

She's on her way home!!!!!!!!

She said she'll try to pop on later if she's not too tired.

She wanted to say thanks to everyone for the prayers, energy and cards.

YAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I was just going to mail out my card today! I'll save it, and just send her an e-greeting, for when she feels up to using the comp again :)

One day while speaking of my friends at MW someone asked "How can you be friends with someone you have never met?" At the time I had no words to explain. But just a few days ago as I lay there in the hospital, unafraid because I knew I was being protected and had so much loving healing energy being sent to me from my friends at MW! Along with the energies from my family and friends at home. The answer came to me...a friend is someone who cares...simple as that!! You don't ever have to meet that person..but you know that they are there in their special way!

I love all of you sooooo much and thank you from the depths of my sould for all the love, kinds words and thoughts, warm wishes and healing energies!! It worked folks...I'm home!!
