Paranormal Forum Guide Nominations

We are currently looking for two the Paranormal forum.


Just a reminder for those who weren't around when the first round of nominations came about:

Guides are not moderators. However, the Guides will have certain powers so that they may now move, stick and close threads on their own. Guides also encourage activity in the forum, whether by introducing new topics, starting games, etc.

There will be no vote afterwards. When the nominations close, I will take the nominees to the other admins and we will discuss who we think will be a good guide for each forum. If necessary, I will take the list of nominees to the standing guide of an individual forum.

The rules:

1. Nominate two members who you think will make good guides and will have fun at it! We don't want to think of this as work.

2. If you are nominated and don't want the position, you can always decline.

3. No admins. :p (Your current admins are: mol, GreenEyes BlueSoul, Athena Nadine, Agaliha, Phoenix Blue, Xentor, Kaylara, Zibblesnrt, SwordFlameSong, SilentDreams and myself.)

I will leave the nomination thread open for (approx) two weeks (or longer depending on how many nominations there are). After the admins have done all their discussing and have chosen Guides, I will come back and make an announcement.

Lol I can't. The group hunts are property of the group and the ones I've done alone have been at night with a bunch of friends. I have a low shutter speed camera that doesn't do well at night. I will though in the future take photos. :)

My personal lone hunts with friends have been with them running around the place and myself walking around debunking the urban legends of the area. No cameras were really needed. :(

haven`t checked on that place in 7 yrs. but last i checked they still did. You got get permission. and that is not exactly near me. That is in long island,NY. I`m from Queens. that was part of the investigations of the The Long Island Paranormal Research Group (LIPRG) aka the ghost and demon hunting LIPRG.. They reported one ghost there and it was considered benign. Hopefully they will let me back in. as I was very inactive there for a long time and changed ISP's.

oh I didn't know there was one in Long Island, but I am pretty sure there is also one in north jersey, I remember reading about it in weird nj or something, I will have to dig it up ..

It would be neat to go there though,

there were two guys who started it about 10 yrs ago. they split up due decisions and view points on what actually are ghosts and demons .

I did ghost hunting with a group and on my own when I lived in Montgomery Al. There were a lot of civil war ghost stories to investigate as well as local haunts.
