What a brilliant forum!:) I have long wanted to discover more about Hoodoo and i heard about Santeria from my uncle who travelled in Cuba so here i can question and learn.

Vodou has a negative reputation here in Greece, but what doesn't these days?People can be very ignorant and misinformed. Is this an international phenomenon?

I think Vodou has a very negative reputation everywhere, and that has to do with cultural misunderstandings, and media misportrayals.

There are actually two separate communities for African Religions one is free

and the other is a paid exclusive membership with lessons, member benefits, elders and much more - limited to 300 folks so hold your seat as soon as possible...... for the best lessons and forum sign up here.

Hey, Ruben...assuming you're not just a bot, please do not post advertising messages in my profile mailbox anymore.

Thanks.

Yes I am very glad to see this forum here - for a while I was wondering how a community of this magnitutde did not have an aread designated to a tradition that so many of us practice and serve...thank you Gebs and MysticWicks!

does anyone know about candle interpretation. If two candles are burning at the same time and one of the flames is high and the other candles flame was higher.
this is for a free standing candle. both tips of the wicks were really red
My personal candles wick from what it looked like had two balls on each side burning then one fell off. then later the other one fell off then one appeared again, the candle burned where the only thing standing was the wick no wax,the little balls were gone too(I call them balls because that is what it looks like to me) does anyone know what they are called
Thank You in advance..................

What were the candles for? What kind of candles were they?
